A compressor unit of this type is designed to compress and pump atmospheric air into the cylinders of breathing apparatus to a pressure of 80-150 kgf/cm2. HIGH PRESSURE COMPRESSOR KR-2, AKR-2: DEVICE

The compressor unit consists of a three-stage vertical compressor with a differential piston and an electric motor that drives the compressor through a V-belt drive. The structure is fixed to a common welded frame. An instrument panel, radiator, moisture-oil separators, relays, pipelines, electro-pneumatic and purge valves, and a storage tank are also mounted here. Circulating lubrication, liquid cooling, with forced circulation through the radiator.

The automatic control and protection system allows:

  • start the unit when the pressure in the system drops to 80 kgf/cm2, with the purge valves opening for 30 seconds
  • stop the unit when it reaches maximum pressure in the system 150 kgf/cm2, with the purge valves opening for 30 seconds. until the electric motor stops
  • emergency stop the AKR-10.000, AKR-2, AKR-21, AKR-22, AKR-23 compressor if there is an increase in air temperature to 70 C°, a drop in oil pressure, an increase in air pressure to 170 kgf/cm2 or its decrease up to 60 kgf/cm2.
