Once upon a time in a very rich family. Things are not what they seem

One day, the father of a rich family decided to take his little son to the village, to the farm, to show his son how poor people can be. They spent the day and night on the farm of a very poor family. When they returned home, the father asked his son:

How did you like the trip?

It was wonderful, dad!

Have you seen how poor people can be? - asked the father.

And what did you learn from this?

The son replied:

I saw that we have a dog in the house, and they have four dogs. We have a pool in the middle of the garden, and they have a bay with no end visible. We illuminate our garden with lamps, and the stars shine for them. We have a backyard patio, and they have a whole horizon.

The father was speechless after this son's answer.

Thank you, dad, for showing me how rich these people are.

Isn't it true that all this depends on from what point of view you look at the world? Having love, friends, family, health, good mood and a positive attitude towards life, you will get everything! But it is impossible to buy any of the above things. You can acquire any material goods imaginable, even stock up on them for the future, but if your soul is not full, you have nothing!

Pencil

Before putting the pencil into the box, the pencil maker put it aside.

There are five things you must know, he told the pencil, before I send you out into the world. Always remember them and never forget them, and you will become the best penciler you can be.

First, you can do many great things, but only if you allow Someone to hold you in His hand.

Second, you will experience painful sharpening from time to time, but it will be necessary to become a better penciler.

Third: you will be able to correct the mistakes you make.

Fourth: your most important part will always be within you.

And fifth: no matter what surface you are used on, you must always leave your mark. Regardless of your condition, you must continue to write.

Butterfly lesson

One day a small gap appeared in the cocoon, and a person passing by stood for long hours and watched a butterfly try to exit through this small gap. A lot of time passed, the butterfly seemed to give up its efforts, and the gap remained just as small. It seemed that the butterfly had done everything it could, and that it had no more strength for anything else.

Then the man decided to help the butterfly, he took a penknife and cut the cocoon. The butterfly immediately came out. But her body was weak and feeble, her wings were transparent and barely moved.

The man continued to watch, thinking that the butterfly’s wings were about to straighten and get stronger and it would fly away. Nothing happened!

For the rest of its life, the butterfly dragged its weak body and its unstretched wings along the ground. She was never able to fly.

And all because the person, wanting to help her, did not understand that the butterfly needs effort to exit through the narrow gap of the cocoon so that the fluid from the body passes into the wings and so that the butterfly can fly. Life made it difficult for the butterfly to leave this shell so that it could grow and develop.

Sometimes it is effort that we need in life. If we were allowed to live without encountering difficulties, we would be deprived. We couldn't be as strong as we are now. We would never be able to fly.

I asked for strength... And life gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for wisdom... And life gave me problems to solve.

I asked for wealth... And life gave me brains and muscles so that I could work.

I asked for the opportunity to fly...And life gave me obstacles so that I could overcome them.

I asked for love... And life gave me people whom I could help with their problems.

I asked for benefits... And life gave me opportunities.

I didn't get anything I asked for. But I got everything I needed.

Bun

Husband and wife lived together for 30 years. On the day of the 30th anniversary of their marriage, the wife, as usual, baked a loaf of bread - she baked it every morning, it was a tradition. At breakfast, she cut it crosswise, buttered both parts, and, as usual, served the top part to her husband, but halfway her hand stopped...

She thought: “On the day of our thirtieth anniversary, I want to eat this rosy part of the bun myself; I’ve been dreaming about it for 30 years. After all, I’ve been an exemplary wife for 30 years, I raised wonderful sons for him, I was a faithful and good lover, I ran a household, She put so much strength and health into our family.”

Having made this decision, she hands the bottom of the bun to her husband, and her hand shakes - a violation of 30 years of tradition! And the husband, taking the bun, said to her: “What an invaluable gift you gave me today, my love! For 30 years I have not eaten my favorite, the bottom part of the bun, because I believed that it rightfully belonged to you.”

Wind and flower

The wind met beautiful flower and fell in love with him. While he gently caressed the Flower, it responded to him with even greater love, expressed in color and aroma.

But this seemed not enough to the Wind, and he decided: “If I give the Flower all my power and strength, then he will give me something even greater.” And he breathed on the Flower the powerful breath of his love. But the Flower could not bear the stormy passion and broke down.

The wind tried to lift him and revive him, but could not. Then he calmed down and breathed the gentle breath of love on the Flower, but it withered before our eyes. Then the Wind shouted:

I gave you all the power of my love, and you broke! Apparently, you didn’t have the power of love for me, which means you didn’t love!

But the Flower did not answer. He died.

Anyone who loves must remember that Love is not measured by force and passion, but by tenderness and reverent attitude. It's better to hold back ten times than to break once.

Once again about how much time is worth

To understand the meaning of the year, talk to a student who failed the exam.

To understand the value of one month, talk to a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.

To understand the value of one week, talk to the editor of a weekly newspaper.

To understand the value of one hour, talk to lovers waiting to meet.

To understand the value of one minute, talk to someone who missed the train.

To understand the value of one second, talk to someone who has just been in a car accident.

To understand the value of one millisecond, talk to an athlete who won a silver medal at the Olympic Games.

Ask a computer hardware designer about the nanosecond.

Every second of your life is worth its weight in gold.

Yesterday is already history. Tomorrow - it’s not clear at all.

Today is a gift. That's why it's called REAL.

P. Coelho, “Maktub”

The teacher said: “It is often easier to love than to be loved. We have difficulty accepting the help and support of others. Our attempts to remain independent deprive others of the opportunity to show us their love.

Many parents, as they get older, deny their children the chance to show them the same love and support they received as children. Many husbands (and wives) feel the shame of being dependent on others when they are unhappy. As a result, the river of love does not flow. You have to accept a sign of love from someone. You must allow others to help you to give you the strength to move on. If you accept such love with purity and humility, you will understand that Love neither gives nor receives - it happens at the same time."

The Master said: “We all need love. Loving is part of human nature, just like eating, drinking and sleeping. Sometimes when we are all alone, watching a beautiful sunset, we think: “This beauty is not important because I there is no one to share it with." In such moments, we must ask: how often are we asked to love, and we turn away?

How many times have we been afraid to get close to someone and say without a doubt that we love that person? Beware of loneliness. It is like addiction to the most dangerous drug. If the sunset no longer makes sense to you, become humble and go in search of love. Know that - like other spiritual blessings - the more you are willing to give, the more you will receive back."

Things are not what they seem

Two traveling angels stopped for the night in the house of a rich family. The family was not hospitable and did not want to leave the angels in the living room. Instead, they were put to bed for the night in a cold basement. As they were making the bed, the elder angel saw a hole in the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel saw this, he asked why. The elder replied:

Things are not what they seem.

The next night they came to spend the night in the house of a very poor but hospitable man and his wife. The couple shared with the angels some of the food they had and told the angels to sleep in their beds, where they could get a good night's sleep. In the morning after awakening, the angels found the owner and his wife crying. Their only cow, whose milk was the family's only income, lay dead in the barn.

The younger angel asked the older one:

“Things are not what they seem,” replied the elder angel.

When we were in the basement, I realized that there was a treasure of gold in the hole in the wall. His master was rude and did not want to do good. I repaired the wall so that the treasure would not be found. When we were sleeping in bed the next night, the angel of death came for the owner's wife. I gave him the cow. Things are not what they seem. We never know everything. And even if you have faith, you still need to instill trust that everything that comes is in your favor. And you will understand this over time. Some people come into our lives and quickly leave, some become our friends and stay for a minute.

Yesterday is history. Tomorrow is a mystery. Today…

The present is a gift. Life is magic and the taste of every moment is unique!

Love and friendship

Love and Friendship met somehow.

Love asked:

Why in the world do you need you if there is me?

Friendship answered her:

To leave a smile where you leave tears.

One day, the father of a rich family decided to take his young son to a farm in the village to show his son how poor people can be. They spent the day and night on the farm of a very poor family. When they returned home, the father asked his son:

— How did you like the trip?

- It was wonderful, dad!

—Have you seen how poor people can be? - asked the father.

- And what did you learn from this?

The son replied:

“I saw that we have a dog in the house, and they have four dogs.” We have a swimming pool in the middle of the garden, and they have a cove that you can’t see the edge of. We illuminate our garden with lamps, and the stars shine for them. We have a backyard patio, and they have a whole horizon.

- Thank you, dad, for showing me how rich these people are.

Wealth is what surrounds you! Look around! Having love, friends, family, health, good mood and a positive attitude towards life, you will get everything!

OPTION 2 PARABLE:

One day, in a very rich family, a father took his son to the village with the goal of showing him how very poor people live. They spent several days and nights in a house that can rightfully be called VERY poor.

Upon returning, the father asked his son if he enjoyed the trip.

"It was great, Dad!" - answered the son.

"Have you seen how poor people live?" - asked the father.

Tell me, what did you understand during this time?

The son replied:

I saw that we had one dog and they had four, but no one was counting their cats! We have a pool that extends to the middle of the yard, and they have a river that has no end. We have expensive lamps, and they have stars at night. We have a little land to live on, but they have fields as far as the horizon. We buy our own food, they grow their own, or take it from the forest. The alarm clock wakes us up, the sun wakes them up. We pay money to see nature in the zoo, they live among nature. The walls protect us, they are protected by the whole world.

Thank you, dad, for showing me how poor we are.
