Open a kindergarten at home, share your experience. How to open a private home kindergarten

In the early 2000s, the country's birth rate declined sharply. People weren't living in the best of times, and the economy was just starting to go into protracted stagnation. Against this background, thoughts about children appeared extremely rarely, and the number of newborns rapidly decreased. At one point, it became clear that kindergartens were not staffed to the required level. It was decided to close many until better times. And now better times have come, there are more and more young mothers and fathers every day, but there are no more kindergartens.

If you see that in your area, city, region, there is a real problem with sending your child to a good kindergarten, then you need to think about how to satisfy the demand for this type of service.

In one of our previous articles, we talked about how to open a children's development center, an analogue to all well-known kindergartens, only with a limited number of children. The article was more of an advisory and informational nature, and there were very few numbers and specific facts. Many readers began to request a detailed and working business plan for opening a kindergarten.

At first the idea seemed good and necessary to us, but we had no practical knowledge in this area. And just a month ago, our team met a man who has been developing his own private kindergarten for three years. We asked him to give us an excursion into his business, to give advice and recommendations, to introduce him to figures, expenses, profits, and everything that would be of interest to our readers.

I would like to say right away that the kindergarten is open in Moscow, but all the advice is valid for any other city. It is clear that you will have to make a certain correlation by numbers, well, this is no longer a problem, the main thing is to know what to count in the first place, and what to refuse.

Business plan for a private kindergarten

As we have already said, the kindergarten operates in Moscow, and a premises measuring 500 square meters was needed for rent. Rent is not the main expense item, because there are many other mandatory ones. Among them:

  • Repairs in the first year - 100 thousand rubles. This is a one-time investment that is necessary in any case. No matter how good the premises are, you will have to modify something, taking into account the fact that it will be a kindergarten. In the future, repairs will be local and not so expensive.
  • Fire safety equipment, alarms, panic buttons - installation 30,000 rubles, maintenance per year 100 thousand rubles. You should not skimp on safety, because you will be working with children whose lives their parents have entrusted to you.
  • Contract with a private security service – 1 million rubles per year. It's not cheap, and you can find more loyal services. The price depends on the scope of services that the private security company offers.
  • Furniture, equipment, inventory, toys, dishes, etc. - from 5 million rubles.

Current expenses:

  • The rent for the premises is 500 thousand rubles per month. It would be ideal if the premises already exist, because a significant expense item would be eliminated. Otherwise you will have to pay quite a bit. Also, premises of this size, and even non-technical ones, are not so easy to find. This is the first place to start.
  • Utilities – 80 thousand rubles
  • Food for 40 children and 20 employees – 200 thousand rubles
  • Consumables. It all depends on how intensively you work and use everything. In this case, it is 60 thousand rubles per month.
  • Salary, bonuses, social benefits and taxes – 1.1 million rubles per month.
  • Advertising – 100 thousand rubles. Here it’s up to your wishes, but at the initial stages such expenses cannot be avoided.

Income:

  • Entry fee (a kind of membership) – 68 thousand rubles
  • Monthly payment. The kindergarten operates 9 months a year and closes for the summer. For 40 children, the fee is 25 million rubles per year, which is approximately 5,750 rubles per month.
  • Individual lessons with a child (drawing, foreign languages, singing, etc.) - 100,000 rubles per year.
  • Short-term groups (up to 8 children) – 500 thousand rubles per year.

Minimum staff for a kindergarten

Employees are an integral part of your business. In this business plan, we will indicate the required minimum of employees that must be in place for the normal functioning of the kindergarten. In the process of activity and development, you can attract more and more new people who will expand the network of services provided and increase your earnings. These could be teachers of foreign languages, art, and music. But at the initial stage you will need:

  • Each group has 2 teachers and a nanny. In our case there are 2 groups.
  • Musical director
  • Child psychologist who specializes in preschoolers
  • Speech therapist
  • Kitchen staff - a cook and two assistants
  • 2 nurses
  • Territory cleaner
  • Caretaker or building worker

To obtain this type of license (to conduct educational activities), you need:

  • Copy of the enterprise charter
  • A copy of the premises rental agreement or purchase and sale agreement
  • Conclusion from the SES and firefighters
  • Educational program plan. What, how, how and why you will do
  • Evidence of the availability of material and technical capabilities to carry out such activities
  • Information about teachers, their work experience, education
  • Information on the number of children in kindergarten

As you can see, you need to collect a lot of documents, get more than one permit, and go through dozens of authorities. And that’s all if you decide to choose NOU. To open a regular private kindergarten, you need to register as an individual entrepreneur. There is no need to obtain any licenses, and the requirements from regulatory authorities are much lower. For example, if an individual entrepreneur violates some SES norms, he will pay a fine of 1,000 to 3,000 rubles. For non-state educational institutions, these same violations will cost 20-40 thousand.

If you decide to open a kindergarten in an apartment, then let’s say right away that this is not entirely legal. Firstly, you will have to negotiate with the SES and firefighters, because it is practically impossible to comply with all their instructions in the apartment. And the earnings here will also not be very comforting. Even in a spacious apartment you can work with a maximum of 10 children.

The best option for a home kindergarten would be to use a cottage. In it you can educate 40-50 people, and at the same time bring everything to the required safety standards. The best option would be to register you as an individual entrepreneur and name the kindergarten as a Child Development Center (CDC) or a Child Care Center (CCC).

The algorithm of action for a kindergarten at home is similar to that for a non-state educational institution, only without obtaining unnecessary licenses and permits.

Kindergarten business plan: personnel recruitment

Your kindergarten staff is the foundation of a successful business. You need to understand that it is the people you choose who will communicate with the children, the children will tell their parents about him, and they will tell their friends about him. A good teacher, nanny, excellent cooks - this is your goal and guideline.

But no matter how document professionals people are, you must interview them under very close scrutiny. You can even set up a camera, record everything you say, and then track reactions to certain questions. Always hire new people with a mandatory probationary period.

In any case, you will need:

  • Educator- This is the person who should inspire trust and respect in parents. He must think in the same social language as young mothers and fathers. A required requirement is a specialized higher education and work experience. It would not hurt to find out why the person quit his previous job, what was the impetus for such a decision, take the phone number of the previous manager and personally find out everything that interests you.
  • Methodist– a person who draws up methods for raising and developing children. This is not a theorist who knows about children from books and lectures of the institute, this is a practitioner who has worked in a state kindergarten, easily finds contact with parents, and knows modern trends in the upbringing and development of children.
  • Psychologist. You shouldn't hire a young specialist. Although there are a lot of smart young psychologists now, it’s not worth the risk. Take a person with experience, but he must not be of Soviet caliber. The person must be middle-aged, up to a maximum of 35.
  • Director. If you yourself have nothing to do with pedagogy and have never encountered kindergartens, then you need a person for the position of director who can organize the proper activities of the kindergarten.
  • Household worker. Any household worker, even that same cleaning lady, must clearly understand that your kindergarten is not a government office where everything is government-owned. He must be economical and hardworking. He must perceive the kindergarten as something of his own and work with appropriate dedication. From you there is a good salary and motivation, from the economic worker, quality work done.

Employee retention and development

If you want to be the best, always go one step ahead of competitors, use current methods and approaches to education, then you need to attract super professionals in their field. But such people will have to be motivated so that they stay with you and do not go to work for a competitor. It is clear that the best motivation is an increase in wages. But it is necessary not only to increase it, but to involve employees in such a way that they receive bonuses for certain achievements.

Also try to create a team atmosphere. Holidays, joint vacations, birthdays - everything should unite your team, everyone should feel that they are part of something big and important.

Many girls are thinking about opening their own kindergarten. I think it’s no secret that this business is better suited for women. And if a girl becomes a mother, then after two years the desire can develop into a need. Why give your child to someone if you can organize your own kindergarten. If opportunities allow, then you need to try. Here are some tips that will definitely help those who decide to engage in this risky and very responsible business:

1. If you have never worked in this field, then you do not need to shoulder all the responsibilities. It is better to hire a director with experience in an administrative position and a pedagogical education. Ideally, if this is the former head of the kindergarten. The director can significantly simplify your life, because he will help you select good and professional staff, choose a room, equip it with the necessary furniture, etc.

2. Justify the choice of premises. It is very good if you have suitable premises in your property. This will remove most of the costs. But, most likely, you will have to rent the premises, which will entail additional risks and responsibilities. Try to establish a trusting relationship with the landlord from the first days, to make him a like-minded person.

3. Make friends with SanEpidemService employees. This should not be an evil official whose arrival you are afraid of, but a real friend who will advise, help, give advice and recommendations in order to avoid unnecessary problems and fines in the future.

4. Be sure to familiarize yourself with the regulatory framework for running your business. Understand all the intricacies of taxation. This will allow you to build your business more efficiently and legally.

5. Always monitor the ratio of income and expenses. Many kindergartens introduce entrance fees to cover certain risks and gain additional profit.

Sincerely, Anatomy of Business project March 17, 2014 8:25 pm “When a home kindergarten opened in our area, not only me, but many other mothers breathed a sigh of relief,” says Svetlana, mother of three-year-old Alina. – I was forced to go to work when my daughter was two years old; a retired neighbor volunteered to “look after” her for a small fee. Of course, I had no complaints about her - the child was supervised and fed, but my heart sank from the fact that Alina spent almost the entire day watching cartoons, communicated little with her peers, and did not attend developmental classes. Now she just chirps about what plants she and her teacher are growing on the windowsill, in what games Alina turns out to be more agile than other children, or what thematic activity she remembers more than the others.”

Why do we need a home kindergarten?

Almost all parents submit applications to place their child on the waiting list at a preschool educational institution immediately after receiving his birth certificate. Some mothers, especially concerned that their child will not get a place in a particular institution, reach an agreement with the director long before the baby is born, the cost of the issue sometimes reaching up to six months of payment for a private kindergarten. But, despite these measures, queues for municipal kindergartens today are as long as in Soviet times for an apartment or a car.

What to do if a place in a preschool educational institution should appear only by the child’s fourth birthday, but the mother’s maternity leave is paid only until her child is one and a half years old? In such a situation, child care centers or home kindergartens come to the rescue. Sometimes home kindergartens are founded by enthusiastic parents to collectively solve the problem of organizing leisure time for their beloved child. Often united mothers act as educators for children in turns. A striking example of this is the story of Irina Vyazemskaya, who not long ago opened a kindergarten (more correctly, it should be called a children's leisure center) at her home.

The idea of creating a home leisure center came to Irina not as a kind of business idea, but rather as a salvation. Irina is a teacher by training, a single mother raising a 2-year-old son. “I, like many mothers, was faced with the problem of placing a child in a state kindergarten,” says Ira. – Paid maternity leave was coming to an end, but there was no talk of going back to work: I had no one to leave Mishenka with, my mother herself worked 5 days a week. In order to find at least a little free time and devote it to work, I came up with the following scheme. Having agreed with my friends who have children the same age as Misha, I invited them to take turns looking after our children, for example, today from 10 am to 1 pm all the children play at Olya’s house, tomorrow at Masha’s, and the day after tomorrow at mine. Gradually, I became so involved in the work of a teacher (my pedagogical education came in handy) that I decided to set up a mini-leisure center for children.”

Irina converted one of the rooms in her apartment into a playroom, purchased educational children's aids, and prepared play activities for children. The first visitors to such a play center were the children of the same friends, but Irina no longer looked after them for free. Now there are 5 guys in the group in the first half of the day and 3 in the second.

Recently, this type of home kindergarten, created by amateurs, has been replaced by commercial ones. This kindergarten is distinguished by the level of training of teachers and the presence of a unique offer. This could be teaching children according to a popular developmental methodology (many creative centers work according to the Maria Montessori method, the Glen Doman system, they teach reading using Zaitsev's cubes or the Cecile Lupan method), the presence of a special menu for children eating a special diet.

Most often, a home kindergarten is a two- or three-room apartment that meets all the requirements of young visitors. There are: a games room, a bedroom, a kitchen, where the guys eat at a large common table, just like at home. In home kindergartens there are also specially equipped sports corners with a Swedish wall, a horizontal bar, and large gymnastic balls. If a kindergarten is located in a private house, then, as a rule, it has its own walking area.

The group usually consists of three to ten people. The teachers promise to find an individual approach to each of them, which will help to maximize the development of the child’s innate talents.

You have decided to open a home kindergarten, weigh all the pros and cons!

This form of child employment, such as home kindergarten, is still new in our country; it is not as widespread as, for example, in the USA, but it already has its supporters. As you know, demand creates supply, and this gives confidence that home gardens will take root well in our soil.

Opening a home kindergarten itself is a great idea not only for parents who dream of a permanent income “without leaving home,” but also for private entrepreneurs planning to try themselves in a new field of business.

What advantages will you get by opening a home kindergarten:

  1. Your own child is under supervision, you have the opportunity to choose teachers and a good company of children for him, you will be sure that he receives quality nutrition.
  2. This is a popular and profitable activity with relatively low costs and low risks.
  3. You will have the opportunity to prove yourself as a private entrepreneur, director, manager, educator, learn time management, and therefore grow professionally.
  4. Formally, in order to open a home kindergarten, or rather a child care center, you only need a work permit and the conclusion of contracts with parents.

Home kindergarten is an excellent alternative to public and private kindergartens, but this matter also has its own nuances that should be thought through in advance. Eg:

  1. lack of your own playground. Most often, children are either indoors or taken for a walk in the nearest park or square;
  2. provided you rent the premises (if you don’t own an apartment that can be converted), the very next day a crowd of disgruntled neighbors may appear on your doorstep, complaining about the noise. However, if you are a sociable person, then solve this problem in no time;
  3. you cannot suddenly get sick or go on vacation for a long time. The issue of your replacement should be resolved in advance.

Organizing the upbringing and leisure of children is not an easy task, requiring the investment of considerable effort and imagination. Therefore, it will be especially pleasant when your initiative is fully realized and benefits not only you, but also your little visitors. Good luck!

You can learn how to prepare for the opening from the following article. Alisa Ivannikova

To organize even a small educational children's institution, an entrepreneur must obtain a number of mandatory permits and licenses (see). This is a long and expensive procedure, and not everyone can undergo it. However, there is an easier option for earning money in this area - providing day care services for children. In this article we will tell you how to organize a home kindergarten.

How to organize day care for children

If you want to organize something like a home kindergarten, but are not sure that you can document this type of business activity, then we suggest that you consider the idea of creating a private center that provides only child care services. The difference between this format and a traditional kindergarten is that the latter provides the pupil with the opportunity to take one or more educational courses, while a child care center cannot perform such functions.

Important! Children are accepted into a mini-kindergarten at home so that they are supervised while their parents are away on their own business, are fed and get used to communicating with their peers. Such an enterprise cannot perform any other functions.

How to set up such a home kindergarten? Not very difficult! To do this, you need to register as an individual entrepreneur (see how) with OKVED code 88.91 (providing day care services for children), select the appropriate taxation system (read), prepare and equip the premises.

Before receiving your first visitors, you should also consider the rules for their presence in a private kindergarten and draw up a price list for the services provided. Each parent, before leaving their child in such a kindergarten, must familiarize themselves with the operating procedures of the center and confirm their consent to use the services, taking into account the proposed conditions.

Material and technical base for kindergarten

If you are thinking about how to open a kindergarten at home, then you will need free living space that can be converted into a small kindergarten format. For these purposes, you can use your apartment (house) or rented premises.

Most often, landlords are not very willing to agree to their apartments being used for children's institutions, and if they do agree, they inflate the rent by 30-40% above the market average.

Therefore, you can consider the following option: organize a kindergarten in the living space of which you are the owner, and move the family to a rented apartment. Yes, this procedure will take a lot of time and effort, but it will save your entrepreneurial endeavor from risks that you cannot control.

Some entrepreneurs who have large living spaces at their disposal organize a mini-garden at home, that is, one of the rooms is converted into a nursery, and the entrepreneur’s family lives in the rest.

Despite the fact that at first this option seems attractive to many (you don’t have to travel anywhere, you can work from home), when implementing this undertaking, many problems arise that result in large costs, in addition, the usual way of family life may be disrupted.

To organize a mini kindergarten (for 3-5 children) you will need:

  • room for a recreation area (20 sq. m);
  • games and sports room (20 sq. m);
  • dining room (20 sq. m.).

That is, an ordinary three-room apartment is suitable for these purposes.

Equipment for the children's center:

  • five sleeping places with bedding and linen (even though children should not be left in the garden to sleep, each of them should have the opportunity to lie down and rest);
  • sports wall and toys (all of good quality and without the danger of injuring the child);
  • dining table and chairs (for a certain age category);
  • dishes, refrigerator, equipment for cooking and heating food;
  • a toilet room adapted to the needs of children.

The approximate cost is about 300 thousand rubles (including cosmetic repairs of existing space).

Kindergarten opening hours

When deciding how to open a home kindergarten, an entrepreneur must protect himself in advance from claims from regulatory authorities and parents. To ensure that fiscal services do not detect violations in the activities of a private kindergarten, its organizer must ensure that children are not left for more than 4 hours a day, children do not participate in any educational and educational programs, reports are regularly submitted and taxes are paid.

To regulate relations with clients, an entrepreneur must, with the help of a lawyer, draw up an agreement on the provision of day care services for a child, which stipulates all the nuances of interaction with parents and the baby. The agreement must be signed by both parties.

During those three to four hours while the child is in the kindergarten, the kindergarten staff has the right to:

  • play with him;
  • feed him the food agreed upon with his parents;
  • spend time with him in the fresh air.

The child must be ensured complete safety. The kindergarten staff is responsible for the baby while he is under his supervision.

Enterprise expenses and income

The main expenses of a home kindergarten are utility bills, laundry services, taxes, and updating the material and technical base. All this will cost about 15 thousand rubles a month. If you do not plan to take care of the children yourself, but are going to hire an employee for this purpose, then about 25 thousand rubles will be added to the amount of monthly costs, which you will spend on wages.

The average cost of visiting a kindergarten for one child is 500 rubles on a weekday and 800 rubles on a weekend. Conventionally, if children visit the kindergarten only on weekdays, then your income will be approximately 55 thousand rubles (5 children * 500 rubles * 22 days). The profit in this case will be from 10 thousand to 35 thousand rubles, depending on whether you use hired labor.

Products for children are always in high demand. Thus, it never ceases to be in demand, relevant and promising. Find out how to open your own retail outlet selling such products.

Conclusion

Promotion of day care services for children can be organized through social networks, as well as through the local press, making a report about the conditions in which children are and how convenient this format of work is for parents. After a few years of such work, the entrepreneur can take on the organization of a full-fledged preschool institution. And now we bring to your attention information about

Over the past decade, the number of newborns in Russia has increased sharply. And immediately an acute problem arose of a lack of places in state kindergartens. Young parents probably know about the problems of placing a child in kindergarten - to do this, you need to stand in line immediately after birth and wait 2-3 years to get into the coveted free place. And in big cities you may not be able to get into a kindergarten at all. Therefore, the only way out of the situation is to enroll the child in a private kindergarten.

What it is

Private kindergartens are a good way out if all the places in municipal institutions in your area are occupied. You can also consider private kindergarten as a business. Moreover, the business is very effective and ideal for a family. A private kindergarten is an educational institution that provides social services not at budget expense, but with parental money.

Private kindergarten is an excellent solution for parents

The responsibilities of the kindergarten include:

  1. Upbringing and primary education for the baby.
  2. High-quality health improvement and prevention.
  3. Child care from a very early age - supervision of him at the specified time.
  4. Educating parents about caring for their baby.

Such institutions operate for extra-budgetary funds. This means that money for operation will be allocated not from the city budget, but from sponsors or parents.

Advantages and disadvantages

Let's look at the main advantages and disadvantages of this phenomenon. The advantages include:

  1. Small groups. Usually their capacity is no more than 10-15 people. An undeniable plus is that the teacher will devote time and monitor all the kids, so they will never be left without attention. In small groups, children learn better, receive more attention, and hone their communication skills. With such a number of children, there are practically no conflicts.
  2. Professional educators. For the owner private kindergarten in the apartment This is a full-fledged business. Therefore, he chooses exclusively qualified staff who will satisfy all the needs of children and parents.
  3. Wide selection of additional services and programs. In a private kindergarten, your child can study foreign languages, prepare him for admission to the best schools and lyceums, teach him to swim, play musical instruments, ride bicycles and horses. The programs in such institutions are much more interesting - children are happy to attend classes.
  4. Homemade food. In municipal kindergartens they cook from products imposed by the education department through a tender. At home, everything is prepared from fresh ingredients purchased the day before. Here the child will be offered a balanced diet, treated to fruits and vegetables, given a supplement without any problems, eliminated from the diet a product that causes allergies, or prepared diet food.
  5. Virtual absence of queue. You can sign up for most private gardens after the start of the “season”. You don't have to wait several years to enroll in kindergarten.

Main disadvantages

Such establishments also have certain disadvantages - you need to know and keep them in mind:

  1. The cost of “training” is quite high. On the other hand, both father and mother will be able to work, so it is more profitable to send the baby to kindergarten rather than sit at home with him around the clock.
  2. Lack of a dedicated walking area. However, this only applies to kindergartens in apartments. Nowadays there are many private gardens in houses - they have their own high-quality playgrounds, fenced off from outsiders.
  3. The difficulty of opening this type of business. Getting started is very difficult - you will have to equip the premises, draw up a lot of paperwork and go through various approvals.

Organizing a small home kindergarten in an apartment is a profitable solution

Is it worth starting?

You should correctly calculate your strengths and capabilities. A kindergarten is more of a family business than a get-rich-quick scheme. Usually it is opened by mothers with small children, they are also educators, and fathers are involved in maintenance and solving all issues. Nevertheless, you can consider a kindergarten as a profitable business. Especially in large cities - there are always a lot of newborns and there is often an acute shortage of places in municipal institutions. In small towns, the wage level of the population is not very high, so not everyone will be able to afford such services, although situations vary.

Note:There is practically no competition in this type of business, so with the right approach, your investment will definitely pay off. It will also be possible to offer additional programs to parents for a fee.

It is also important to develop a good program and overall concept for the institution. An original name, convenient location, modern programs, proprietary methods, additional classes, 24-hour opening hours - all this increases your attractiveness and motivates parents to come to you, and not to the municipal kindergarten.

Registration process

It should be understood that working with children requires strict adherence to all standards and regulations. Therefore, you will have to spend a lot of money on equipment for the premises.The registration process begins with obtaining a non-commercial patent. To do this, you will need to contact the Federal Registration Service of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation and submit an application. When registering, you inform the specialist about the chosen field of activity, after which he indicates this specificity in the documents according to the all-Russian classification. Typically, the application is reviewed within 30 working days.

A wide variety of activities are possible in a private kindergarten

If it is approved, you should contact:

  1. To the tax service.
  2. To the pension fund.
  3. To the social and health insurance fund.
  4. To state statistics bodies.

In parallel with registration in the above services, you will need to contact the local government (mayor's office) and the education department to approve the opening of the institution. You will also need a bank account, a license from the Department of Education and accreditation from local governments.

Set of documents

To open you need the following list of documents:

  1. Agreement on ownership of premises or lease agreement.
  2. Conclusion of the sanitary and epidemiological station on compliance with standards.
  3. Conclusion of the fire inspection on compliance.
  4. Document on assignment of TIN status.
  5. Charter of an educational institution.
  6. Detailed educational program approved by the Department of Education.
  7. List of educational materials and methodological literature.
  8. It's up to every teacher.
  9. An exact list of all children (preferably with phone numbers and full names of parents).

Note:Doing business without a license and educational programs is strictly prohibited - criminal liability is provided for this. But you can cheat and organize an organization for short-term visits by preschoolers (up to 4 hours a day).

In this case, you do not need a license - your enterprise will be registered as a training or development center. Programs are designed in any case - they are even made for clubs and sections.

Requirements for kindergarten

There are increased requirements for the premises in which the establishment will be located. All standards are regulated by SanPin 2.4.1.3049-13, as amended on 04/04/2014. Study them carefully before choosing a room and starting its renovation. Among the key requirements:

  1. 6 m2 for each child.
  2. Different rooms are needed for eating, sleeping and entertaining.
  3. Mandatory presence of a nurse's office with medical supplies for first aid.
  4. Mandatory presence of the manager's office.
  5. Premises for “clubs of interest”. Roughly speaking, these are rooms in which children can practice choreography, fine arts, sports (gym with equipment), and communicate with a psychologist.
  6. A separate catering unit is required.
  7. Special toilet rooms for children. Can be combined with washbasins. They should have special cabinets installed in which towels and personal hygiene products (soap, toothbrushes, etc.) will be stored.
  8. Clothes storage room. Wardrobes in which children hang outerwear should not be in the bedroom or dining room - they are located in the hallway.
  9. Each room must have a working fire alarm.
  10. Each room should have natural and artificial lighting.
  11. The temperature in the premises should not be lower than 22 degrees.
  12. The walls are painted with moisture-resistant red.
  13. Beds and dishes must have quality certificates.

You will need to purchase children's toys and sports goods

Recruitment

If you have the appropriate education, you can start working on your own. But if you are wondering about how to open a private kindergarten and where to start, then, most likely, you are far from raising children. In this case, you need to find good teachers. Doing this is not as easy as it seems. Personnel should be selected not only based on experience and the presence of various categories, but, first of all, on personal qualities and love for children. For a full-fledged kindergarten, you will need to hire at least a couple of teachers, a nanny, a cook, a health worker, and a cleaner. We also need a manager who will keep order and communicate with parents on all issues. You will also need other specialists if you are going to offer any additional services. For example, an English teacher or choreographer. You don’t have to hire them on staff—you can simply sign an outsource agreement to conduct classes.

Selection of children

Once you have done and organized all of the above, you will want to recruit children of any age to recoup the investment. But you can’t do that. One group should contain children of approximately the same age (plus or minus a year). According to the program, teachers will work with children on drawing, learning letters, and developing logical thinking. The tasks should be completely different, because you cannot read the same thing to a three-year-old and a six-year-old. Therefore, either one group of approximately identical children, or several of different ages.

When admitting a child to kindergarten, parents must sign an agreement with you for the provision of educational services. It is necessary to describe as much as possible all points and possible situations. In principle, you can find a standard agreement on the Internet and adjust it to suit your realities.

Small groups in a private garden give more freedom to children and teachers

Family kindergarten

Above we described what is needed to open a private kindergarten. But you can take the path of least resistance and create a family kindergarten. Even an ordinary apartment or house will do for this. Children are in the establishment part-time (we wrote about this above), so a license is not needed. The requirements for premises and personnel are also significantly simplified, which allows for significant savings. But usually in such kindergartens there are 3-7 children - this is more of a club of interests than a full-fledged kindergarten. Nevertheless, this is an excellent solution for young parents and a very good solution for a family business.

Most preschool and school institutions have retained the state form of ownership, which makes it almost impossible to have a profitable business selling the happy childhood and free time of parents. If we do not take into account cases when a private children's institution is veiled under other institutions or goes into the shadows, the question of how to open a private kindergarten arises only among fans of their business, who are all willing to put everything on the line for the opportunity to do it and at the same time earn money for themselves for life. The thing is that the bureaucratic system in Russia greatly complicates the process of registering any private children's institution, especially a kindergarten with a stationary stay for children throughout the day, meals and naps.

If in America to open a business in a private kindergarten you need to provide only two certificates, then in our country this process can take several months with very doubtful prospects for success. In any case, it is easier to open a kindergarten at home in a big city, and a larger number of pupils will increase the institution’s return on investment.

Pros and cons of opening a private kindergarten

In small towns, kindergartens at home are often practiced according to a very simple scheme. Mothers who have experience working with children offer their services to friends who have children of the same age and need to go to work.

Such an institution has up to 8-10 students and is in great demand. But to open even such a children's institution, it is necessary to have a dining room separate from the kitchen, a bedroom and a separate playroom. Such a private garden is unlikely to bring you a decent and stable income.

The best option would be to open a private kindergarten in accordance with all legal requirements.

You shouldn't expect any income in the first year. Practice shows that this type pays off within 4-5 years of existence. The main thing is to gain a good reputation for yourself, because parents are very reluctant to trust their children to newcomers. To begin with, you will have to take a small fee, and it is better to immediately involve professionals who are unlikely to agree to work for less than $15 per hour, if we are talking about Moscow. But such educators will quickly elevate your institution to the rank of “elite”, using unique proprietary methods of raising and teaching children.

  • tax office;
  • Pension Fund;
  • compulsory health insurance fund;
  • social insurance fund;
  • state statistics bodies;
  • antimonopoly organizations (no later than 45 days from the date of registration).

A license for educational activities can be obtained from state educational authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation (Department or Committee of Education) and local governments, and for this you will need:

  • institution charter;
  • certificate from the tax office confirming registration;
  • lease or ownership agreement for premises;
  • conclusion of the fire service and SES on compliance with their requirements;
  • education program;
  • information about the team of educators (their education, availability of advanced training courses, etc.);
  • document on filling groups.

The last point should be taken care of in advance: study potential students based on the city or region; study the activities of similar establishments in the city of different forms of ownership. It may turn out that the fee you set is beyond the means of the residents of your neighborhood. If everything is in order and all the necessary documents have been collected, you can safely realize your dream and already calculate how much such a business costs and when you can expect profit.
