Methodological basis for the application of a risk-based approach in the implementation of state control in the field of healthcare

Since 2017, the risk-based approach has become the leading concept in the reform of state control (supervision) in Russian Federation. Based on activity assignment legal entity, individual entrepreneur the intensity (form, duration and frequency) of inspections of a particular organization is determined for one or another risk category. The use of a risk-based approach is aimed at increasing the transparency and clarity of control mechanisms for controlled entities, reducing their costs and defining common approaches to exercising control, incl. by introducing unified checklists.
