Code 45.31 decryption. Selection of OKVED codes

Many newcomers to this field start starting a business with the use of the simplified tax system. Of course, this tax regime allows you to significantly reduce the amount of taxes, but at the same time it reduces the number of OKVED codes that can be used in this regime. So, one of the codes allowed for use under the simplified tax system is 45.31 OKVED, its decoding means that the entrepreneur conducts activities related to wholesale th automobile parts, assemblies and accessories.

Why B?

Without it, no company can operate. Code is a kind of denoted element that helps government agency immediately determine what exactly a certain company does. And since now one of the especially profitable types business is considered to be the sale of automobile spare parts, it is not surprising that the application documents of new companies that open indicate OKVED 45.31.

Although it is worth noting that this code is rarely used by companies as the main one. The fact is that OKVED 45.31, deciphered in 2016, represents the sale of automotive parts, assemblies and various accessories used in transport only in wholesale form. That is for retail sales this code does not apply. This means that if a company still plans to carry out retail trade in addition to wholesale sales while on the simplified tax system, then it will need to take care of identifying another additional code that meets the criteria.

What about wholesale?

By law, a company must have only one main code registered. But in addition to it, each company can additionally use other codes. Although it is worth noting that when deciding which code to make the main one, the one most relevant to the company’s activities, you should first of all make a decision on which market the company’s activities will be directed to.

So, if the main goal of the company is the wholesale sale of automobile parts, then OKVED 45.31 will be the ideal choice. But if you want to find most buyers in the area retail, it is worth considering using different code. But it is not necessary to completely abandon code 45.31. He can, like others OKVED codes is among the secondary codes used by the company when conducting a slightly different type of activity.

It is also worth knowing that OKVED codes identified during registration can subsequently be replaced by others, this also applies to code 45.31. In the case of business expansion, the company will not have enough of the opportunities offered by the simplified tax system regime, therefore, most often, when moving to the middle level, entrepreneurs begin to change the OKVED code and the taxation system itself. Replacement of codes must be carried out within three days, the countdown of which begins when conducting activities to which the identified code is related.

CodeOKVED 45.31 allows many companies just beginning their development to begin a very serious and profitable business, the wholesale sale of automobile parts. And although this code allows you to conduct activities on very pleasant conditions, still successful development activity, it will have to be changed to another one used in expanded taxation systems.

The company and individual entrepreneur must correctly select the type of activity from the OKVED classifier, since this particular type will be indicated in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities and the Unified State Register of Individual Entrepreneurs.

In order not to make a mistake when choosing a type of activity, you need to know the general rules:

  • Upon registration, information about the types of activities is entered into the unified state register of legal entities (IP). Several types of activities can be declared. At the same time, it is not necessary to engage in everything immediately after registration;
  • Some types of activities are not suitable for the special regimes of the simplified tax system, UTII and patents. Therefore, before choosing a type of activity, check with the Tax Code what is allowed in your regime;
  • A new type of activity may involve opening separate divisions. For example, this could be a new office, warehouse or store;
  • The company and individual entrepreneur can at any time exclude unnecessary types of activities from the Unified State Register of Legal Entities/Unified State Register of Entrepreneurs or add new ones. To do this, you need to submit an application to the Federal Tax Service;
  • Taxpayers are prohibited from working in activities that are not included in the register.

Increasingly, entrepreneurs starting commercial activities, choose narrowly focused types of work and services, such as electrical installation work. A special place in the procedure for registering an individual entrepreneur or LLC is occupied by the selection of suitable OKVED codes.

Increasing popularity and demand for domestic market electrical installation, repair or restoration work has led to the fact that this type economic activity subjected to classification. Now each type of service has its own code.

The All-Russian Classifier of Types of Economic Activities (OKVED) is a special document with a complete list of types of economic activities that domestic entrepreneurs can engage in. Each type of work has its own code, which must be designated when registering a company or individual entrepreneur.

Since January 2017, it has been operating in Russia new edition classifier called OKVED-2 (OKVED-2014 or OK 029-2014). previous version OKVED-1 (other names - OKVED-2001, OK 029-2001, NACE rev. 1, OKVED-2007, OK 029-2007, NACE rev. 1.1) has lost its effect, so entrepreneurs should be very careful when choosing the right code from the current one classifications.

Also, when choosing codes, it is worth considering that some types of economic activities require a license, and without going through the licensing procedure, the entity is prohibited from engaging in such work. In addition, some types of activities are suitable exclusively for a certain organizational and legal form.

Features of the classification of electrical installation work

Electrical installation work is a whole complex of complex technical and engineering activities, the purpose of which is to supply electricity to residential or commercial buildings. Not only the reliable operation of the entire system, but also the direct safety of people depends on the quality of this work. Therefore, most entrepreneurs choose narrowly focused activities in this area of service provision.

According to OKVED, electrical installation work in 2018 received code 43.21. As mentioned above, there are several editions of the classification, so confusion often arises. Previously, the group of activities called “Performance of electrical installation work” was under code 45.31. It is worth noting that only the code has changed, the name and decoding remain the same.

The list of works permitted by the classifier in this area is quite large. It gives entrepreneurs the right to install, repair, and restore external networks, electrical wires, and telecommunication systems.

Decoding code 43.21

OKVED-2 classifies the group of activities under code 43.21 to section F “Construction”, class 43 “Specialized construction work” and subclass 43.2 “Production of electrical, sanitary and other construction and installation works”.

The list of activities that fall under this code is quite universal:

  • installation of electrical systems in civil engineering buildings;
  • installation of electrical wiring, electrical fittings and other power supply networks, which requires special qualifications;
  • electrical installation work related to the installation of various devices, including meters, intercoms, combination locks;
  • installation of fire safety systems, antennas of all types, cable television networks;
  • laying telecommunication wiring;
  • installation of lighting systems at airports, ports, and highways;
  • other electrical installation work that is not included in other categories.

This code will not work if you plan to provide services in the field of adaptation engineering systems and equipment at cultural heritage sites or the construction of communication lines and power lines.
