In this article, the authors (Nikolay Matvienko, Elena Rostovtseva) summarize some aspects of structuring and systematizing the TOP 50 working professions, taking into account new trends and labor market dynamics.
The Ministry of Labor published the top 50 most demanded working professions in October 2015. . Over the past three years, serious structural changes have taken place in the economy, politics and the labor market. This article by the authors is an attempt to fill the gap over the past three years, and make an analysis of the prerequisites, labor market trends by mid-2018, as well as make forecasts of demanded blue-collar jobs until 2020.
At the end of the article is a glossary of terms used.

Keywords: labor market, working professions, advanced training courses, andragogy, digitalization, TOP 50 working professions, courses and training in craft professions, professional standard, ETKS.

The labor market is dynamically changing every year, season, quarter. And especially it is rapidly changing in times of crisis. Now in the middle of summer 2018 are coming massive layoffs in the banking sector, in the real estate market and in the public sector. In 2015 (October), when the ranking of the TOP 50 most demanded working professions was compiled, there were no such forecasts. There were forecasts of falling demand for lawyers, middle managers, image makers, and journalists. Only the forecast for the demand for IT specialists came true. And the forecasts for the demand for crisis managers came true. But the goal of our study is workers - professions. Therefore, in this article we will consider only working and craft professions. And do not forget a simple truth: ratings, tops, trends and lists are often compiled for someone and for someone else. If the stars are lit up in the sky, then someone needs it ...

We will not consider the erroneous list of FIRO compiled in alphabetical order, we will not consider the weighted average demand for all federal districts of the Russian Federation (this is the average temperature in the hospital), we will not consider employees and engineers. Out of the scope of our consideration will remain schoolchildren after the 10th grade, who still have career guidance. In our study, we focus on adults aged 20 and older, well motivated, purposeful, consciously choosing their future work profession.

The most demanded in the labor market in 2018 are robotics, mechatronics, and service professionals. Automation, robotization and digitalization of processes remain the main trend. But how to draw the line between an IT specialist and a graphic designer? And how would a highly qualified auto mechanic do without a computer? According to Irina Bozrova, Deputy Director of the College of Communications, the priorities by industry sectors on average in the Russian Federation look like this. List of integrated industries and groups according to relevance and demand.

  • Technique and construction technology
  • Informatics and Computer Engineering
  • Information Security
  • Electronics, radio engineering and communication systems
  • Photonics, instrument making, optical and biotechnical systems and technologies
  • Chemical technology
  • mechanical engineering
  • Industrial ecology and biotechnology
  • Technique and technology of land transport
  • Air navigation and operation of aviation and rocket and space technology
  • Office in technical systems
  • Fine and applied arts.
The most accurate definition creative professions is the specialty of the designer. A designer is a rather voluminous concept that includes floristry, clothing, home and life, landscape, etc. Therefore, each graduate will easily choose for himself exactly the specialty in design that will not only “feed”, but also give satisfaction in life.

In 2015, significant funds were allocated from the budget for certain industries and educational processes in the most important industries. At the same time, Lyubov Yeltsova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, noted that the most important thing is "...increased requirements for personnel conditions implementation of educational programs ... "The qualifications of the teaching staff of the educational organization must meet qualification requirements specified in professional standards. For teachers who ensure the development of students in the disciplines of breakthrough nanotechnologies, digitalization, robotics (modules of pedagogical measurement), experience in organizations of the relevant professional field is mandatory. Specified teaching staff receive additional vocational education under advanced training programs, including in the form of internships in organizations whose activities correspond to the field of professional activity specified in the Federal State Educational Standard, at least 1 time in 3 years.

All professions from the top 50 list can be conditionally divided into several separate industries. Until today, the top 50 working professions include the following specialties: adjuster, locksmith, repairman, equipment mechanic, machine operator, assembler, assembler, stained glass artist, glass blower, ceramist, refractory worker, stove maker, argon welder. Ventilation specialist, process technician, design technician, universal turner, universal milling machine operator, electrician and others.

Professions related to repair and design remain in demand. This is a master of decorative works, a tiler, a finisher, a carpenter, a master of joinery and carpentry. And also a furniture restorer, a stained-glass window artist, a ventilator, a plumber, a locksmith. In addition to traditional professions, the top 50 includes such rare professions as an unmanned aerial vehicle operator, mobile roboticist, additive technology specialist, mechatronics technician and composite materials technician. According to Chernoskutova I.A., director of the department of state policy in the field of training of workers and further vocational education "... The appearance of certain vacancies occurs under the influence of many factors: the development and spread of a particular industry, novelty, prestige of the industry, salary level, low availability of education …"

Let's go back to 2016. Dmitry Livanov and Olga Vasilyeva launched large-scale education reforms. Deputy Minister of Education
Zolotareva Natalia, said in 2016 that 40 percent of graduates now choose colleges and technical schools. Interview Russian newspaper March 22, 2016.
Natalia Zolotareva: "The most in demand in the labor market are graduates who have received education in the field of instrumentation, in the field of aviation, space-rocket and marine technology. From working professions, builders, plumbers, stove-makers, electricians, locksmiths, restorers, database administrators, network system administrators. Welders are also easily employed. The starting salary of a welder who owns, for example, two types of welding - argon and coated electrode welding - is about 70-90 thousand rubles. Master carpenter, metrologist, mechatronician, mobile roboticist, stained glass artist, adjuster, repairer of industrial equipment, operator of machine tools with program control.
What specialists are in demand at defense enterprises?
Natalia Zolotareva: Technological processes these enterprises are automated, so highly skilled workers are required. These are, for example, machine tool operators with numerical control, mechatronics, prototyping specialists. Today we need multidisciplinary specialists in the field of mechanical engineering and information technology. Therefore, while studying at technical schools, the guys master several related professions.
And what kind of profession is mechatronics?
Natalia Zolotareva: This new profession. Mechatronics is a specialist in installation, diagnostics and adjustment of automated production and units. He has knowledge in the field of mechanics, electrical, information technology."

Public and private educational institutions are concerned about increasing the prestige of working specialties. Now the adult population chooses a working profession based on their vital interests. And andragogy is becoming more and more popular among teachers. They are now more willing to work and teach to the adult population. Among the most demanded until 2020 working professions are:
1. Professions related to construction: bricklayer, metalworker, welder, turner, electroplater, woodcarver, patternmaker.
2. Electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment
3. Installers;
4. Technologists;
5. Operators to work with various industrial equipment, drillers or machinists.

Undoubtedly, among specialists in working specialties, employees with professional experience are especially valued. It is for this reason that young specialists should be especially attentive to the development of important professional skills and abilities. Despite the wide opportunities provided by the modern labor market, the desire to work and study remains the main thing for successful employment. Constantly improve your skills. Education in the twenty-first century has become continuous, accessible, remote. Now many educational establishments teach working professions online and via videoconference. The Russian Academy of Crafts conducts distance learning for its main working professions: a stove-maker, a blacksmith, a jeweler, a ceramist, a stained glass artist, a carpenter, an argonist, a restorer. The Academy of Crafts has established close contact with the federal districts and with the Chambers of Crafts in the districts. The trainee undergoes practical training in the Chamber of Crafts or with the master of the Chamber of Crafts in his Federal District.
