Ice cream 48 kopecks briquette weight. Review: Ice cream Nestle "48 kopecks"

I don't often buy "branded" ice creams. Firstly, I am not an ardent fan of this fatty product, and secondly, because such delicacies are usually not cheap.

For me, it's easier to buy a cheap weight ice cream and, according to fantasy.

But today something attracted me to a block of Nestle ice cream with the old name "48 kopecks". Everyone knows (even if many of them didn’t see and don’t remember) that Soviet ice cream is the most delicious ice cream in the world! This is how our parents taught us, each time remembering this price tag, gobbling up a chilling newfangled ball.

But the Nestle ice cream 48 kopecks lured me not with this, but with a new wrapper with the stamp "Even tastier!". Unfortunately, I saw the asterisk after this phrase only now, posting a photo for the review, and the candy wrapper has long been thrown into the trash. Now parses curiosity, what did the manufacturers have in mind? Although you go back to the store tomorrow, read the wrappers!

Previously, I also bought "48 kopecks", but usually they were some flavored specimens or with chocolate chips, the taste of which depends more on the filler than on the ice cream itself.

This wrapper is really more convenient, especially since another foil wrapper is hidden under it, in which the ice cream is already packed.

Under the second layer 221 grams of delicious ice cream. It is the ice cream, the way it should be - a little fat (but not too much, which is what I like most about this ice cream), not too dense, viscous.

And you know, I really liked this ice cream. It is very sweet, maybe even a little too much, because after that I was very thirsty. But it is not cloying and smells very fragrant of vanilla.

Pleasantly melts in the mouth, leaving a feeling of satiety, and not just a melted piece of ice. By the way, and on a plate, it melts rather slowly, which is somewhat alarming.

But there is something unnatural, not natural in this ice cream. What, I decided to check the composition.

The composition of Nestle ice cream 48 kopecks, in principle, is not bad, except for the fact that there is no milk in the composition. Here, in fact, where these incomprehensible sensations come from. Strange, some kind of GOST turns out ...

And here it is: a milk drink and restored milk whey, butter, sugar, glucose, inulin, natural flavor (cream) and identical to natural (vanilla), emulsifier (mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids, stabilizers (guar gum, locust bean gum) , carrageenan). Plus, again, the incomprehensible content of a small amount of gluten, nuts and eggs. And where do they come from in ALL products? The feeling that this is all done in a chicken coop or in the forest, where every now and then squirrels shoot nuts into an oil mill ...

The classic ice cream 48 kopecks is successfully sold, and not only in the capitals and large cities, but also in the outback. Since the 90s, consumers have perceived the brand as a famous product and consider it an unshakable standard of quality. In 1996 the world famous Nestle company acquired the rights to produce ice cream, and held marketing research on the subject of brand recognition, as a result of which it turned out that Russians still love this ice cream and know it by its former name - “ 48 kopecks". It was decided to keep this name, as well as the unique quality of the product. So, under the former, familiar brand, high-quality products are still produced, consisting of natural ingredients.

Ice cream according to GOST
My wife bought ice cream 48 kopecks ice cream 100% according to GOST ... After reading the composition, I laughed for a long time - what GOST is it made according to? Not to say that the ice cream is not tasty, but definitely not natural. Even my dog turned his face away from him, although he sometimes eats other ice cream with pleasure ...

Nestle brand value as assessed by companies

history of the company

Trademark 48 kopecks is owned by Nestlé.

The Nestlé company supplied its products to Russia already at the end of the 19th century, when the St. Petersburg merchant Alexander Wenzel signed an exclusive contract with Henry Nestlé for the supply of dairy products on the territory of the Russian Empire.

A new stage began in the early 90s of the 20th century, when Nestlé created a network of importers and distributors who began to actively develop sales of Nestlé's main brands, including Nescafe and Nesquik.

In April 1995, Societe pour l "Exportation des Produits Nestle S.A." opened its representative office in Moscow. A year later, Nestle Food LLC became a full-fledged Russian company, organizing a network of its own warehouses and setting up a sales and marketing system to promote products on the market.

In June 1996, the company acquired a controlling stake in Nestlé Zhukovskoye Ice Cream LLC. Investments were made in the installation of a new modern equipment, which allows the production of traditional Russian ice cream under new brands, such as ice cream "48 kopecks", popsicle "Kimo", "Rozochka", "Snegurochka".

Currently, Nestle products in Russia are represented by about fifty brands.

Brand history

In Soviet times, a briquette for 48 kopecks was especially popular. By purchasing the Zhukovsky Ice Cream enterprise, Nestle held a series of sociological research in order to find out which ice cream name the consumer likes best. It turned out that high quality Russians associated ice cream with a nameless variety of Soviet ice cream, which was sold in two hundred to fifty gram bags. And Nestle immediately released ice cream called "48 kopecks." Now this trademark takes the first place in the sales of Zhukovsky Ice Cream. This is not surprising - after all, the quality of ice cream among Russians is associated with Soviet ice cream for 48 kopecks.

The success of “48 kopecks” is associated with a very effective nostalgic positioning, which provides mainly a good name.

In the TV commercial, the children, in their usual casual way, involve the whole family in their "guessing" game. Parents are happy to pick up the idea, because the answer is obvious - 48 KOPEEK ice cream has always been the best sweet family tradition for all generations. Both at home and on a walk in the park, the whole family is happy to enjoy their favorite ice cream!

On the this moment under the brand name "48 kopecks" there are six types of ice cream in briquettes with different tastes, seven types of desserts, a classic collection of three types of ice cream in trays, as well as popsicle on a stick and ice cream in a waffle cup.

The examination of Rospotrebnadzor showed , that there are no vegetable fats in the composition of this sample, which means that the product corresponds to the name "ice cream ice cream". No preservatives were found in it either. Microbiology is normal - there are no dangerous bacteria and microbes in the sample. However, the sugar content of the product was 40% higher than stated on the label.

There are probably very few people in the world who, for whatever reason, do not like ice cream. Well, our family is no exception in this regard. True, everyone's tastes are slightly different - the son loves ice cream in chocolate icing, the wife often buys fruit varieties for herself, but we both love this Nestle ice cream.

For this reason, it can always be found in the freezer of our refrigerator. As soon as it starts to run out, we go to the store and bring another supply with us. After all, it happens that suddenly, for no apparent reason, you want to treat yourself to your loved one, and the time is already late and you don’t go to the supermarket. It is better to have such a stock.

People who have matured Soviet years, remember well how ice cream in such briquettes was sold for forty-eight kopecks. Of course, at that time the packaging was not so colorful, but just paper with some kind of pattern. But it was happiness if the parents did not buy a small waffle cup, but this huge white brick. Ice cream was transferred to a plate, as in this photo, they took the smallest teaspoon and separated the melted mass from a large iceberg in very small portions, so that they could then put it in their mouths. The pleasure had to be stretched out, because a second such gift was rarely counted on. After all, forty-eight kopecks were considered not at all small money. In the seventies and eighties of the last century, an ordinary person could live a day without starving for a ruble. And there were such categories of citizens whose salary was only sixty or eighty rubles at best. Unpretentious engineers then, after the institute's bench, began their labor activity with a salary of one hundred and twenty rubles. So the ice cream wasn't that cheap.

But what a delicious meal it was. Here now Nestle is trying to replicate that taste. But we understand that this is achieved through the use of various flavorings and taste improvers. That is, they stuff us with all sorts of overseas chemicals. Before, everything was natural. Don't believe? And this is a very simple explanation - in the USSR then chemical industry lagged far behind foreign ones and "chemizing" with food was simply not economically profitable. Our natural products were cheaper than our artificial ones. So it was with the drink "Baikal" - it was our answer to "Coca-Cola" for the Olympics-80. And it was much tastier than foreign. And, sorry, even tastier than they do now at Russian factories.

Still, this is a very good ice cream! I'll go and look in the fridge. While writing these lines, I really wanted "48 kopecks" :-)
