Today my post will not fit into the format of this blog.

The fact is that yesterday a friend called me with an offer to earn extra money.

This gentleman needed to update the 1C he had purchased a long time ago.
The first thing that surprised me was where he got my phone number from, I haven’t submitted ads of this kind for a very long time... but oh well.

One way or another, this gentleman was kicked out by me for the following reasons:
1) I haven’t done this kind of work for a very long time
2) My friend just reeked of obep from a mile away 👮

It’s funny, he asked me to recommend someone else... well, that’s the specificity of their work)

But here it’s time to introduce you to one bad (or good, depending on what point of view you look at it) trend - OBEP began to catch programmers for illegal 1C updates. If earlier they caught only for the left installation, now they have expanded the range of actions (crisis - no money), and began to catch for non-ITS subscriptions. Yes, the configuration itself can be legal! It’s just that in the latest releases of 1C configurations, if an illegal update is performed, a message about this bad behavior periodically pops up. And in order to prevent this from happening, specialists install various stray devices, which are successfully caught by the competent authorities.

I will not touch on the moral and ethical side of the issue, I will only say that with an illegal update (as well as an illegal installation), the possible damage far exceeds the money received. I can still understand when people conventionally rob a bank in order to give themselves a beautiful, wealthy life somewhere on a tropical island. But getting a criminal record, plus a suspended sentence, plus a fine of 100-200 tr for some measly 1-2-3 tr personally seems stupid to me.

Therefore the following tips:
1) Upgrade yourself as a programmer and take on “programming” jobs, you can earn much more from them than from updates.
2) Basic versions can be updated freely, no ITS subscription required
3) When ordering an update, find out if there is an ITS subscription (at least techno), if not, offer to buy it (if it works, you can then request a rollback from the franchise). If you don’t have an ITS subscription and don’t want to buy it, then think about whether you need it...
4) Personally, I know of situations where real companies participated in such “purchases”, and real company employees called. Therefore, it is almost impossible to figure out that they are calling from OBEP!

And...don’t think that you will outwit these comrades!

The need to update 1C Enterprise and any products created on this platform is due to maintaining the relevance of their functionality. Updates reflect changes in legislative norms and rules, the release of new forms of regulated reports, expanded functionality, improved interface of solutions, as well as corrections of software bugs. Let's take the example of 1C: Accounting 8 to update configuration 3.0 with Internet support, that is, automatic and manual (in principle, these rules apply to any standard 1C configurations, for example, ZUP or UT). Before we begin, let's pay attention to a few important points:

• Depending on the settings of 1C:Accounting 8, updates can be made manually or automatically, but in both cases only when all users log out of the database.
• Before updating 1C, as well as before any other configuration manipulations, you need to download the database and save it in archive format. In a critical situation, if a failure occurs or updates for some reason come into conflict with the existing system, a saved copy of the database will help you return to the beginning of the process, avoiding losses in settings and data.
• If, for example, three new versions have been released for a program since the last update, the update installation process will have to be repeated three times.
• Before installing standard updates, you should make sure that no modifications have been made to the configuration. Updating a non-standard configuration occurs manually, not automatically, and requires the involvement of a specialist to verify and enter twice changed objects. The lock icon in the configuration window will help you verify this.

To select a file, select “Specify the update file” and the path where the “unpacked” newest release is located - the file with resolution .cfu. Click “Open”:

As you know, 1C: ITS, especially some types of this service, seems to many companies to be unnecessarily expensive. That is why the question quite often arises: is it necessary to subscribe to ITS? Is it possible to do without an accompaniment? The answer is clear: subscription is not required. So, if you want to buy 1C in Moscow , no one will force you to mandatory buy a subscription to ITS. However, there are some aspects worth knowing.

Firstly, only those users who have basic versions of the programs can update their software products to new releases without subscribing to ITS. Update basic versions carried out free of charge via the Internet.

Users who use versions of programs higher than the basic ones can update them only if they have an ITS - a valid subscription to information technology support. • The ability to send reports to the Pension Fund of Russia, the Social Insurance Fund and the Federal Tax Service directly through 1C: Reporting - secure communication channels. For ITS PROF level subscribers this service provided free of charge;
