Now the field of the future banner can be filled with the color we need and inscriptions can be made. How to do this was discussed in detail in the previous article ““, where we made pictures for blog articles.
In this article we will complicate our task, instead of the usual filling of the banner field, we will use the “Gradient” mode, the filling will be done with variable color intensity, the image will look prettier. To do this, in the left toolbar of the Pixlr program, select the “Gradient” mode (see screenshot) – step 1. A “Gradient” strip appears at the top of the window, click on it – step 2, the color selection window opens, select the color gradation we need – action 3.
Now use the mouse to place the cursor in the middle part of the future banner and move it up, down or right, left. Experimentally we obtain the desired color gradation.
Now you can overlay an image, as well as write text in any color and size (how to do this is shown in the article ““).
In order to place an advertising banner on your own or someone else’s blog, you need to create another html code for the resulting banner. This is done very simply, just like placing a picture on a blog (for example, in a sidebar). So, let's use the code template:

After you have chosen the picture, by the way, it must have an extension of either jpg or gif, open it in Photoshop. After that, we adjust the size of the image to fit our banner. To do this, in the main menu, select the “image” - “image size” tab. After that, in the window that opens, you need to set the height of the image to 60 pixels, and be sure to check the “maintain proportions” box. If the image has its own background, then you must first cut it out and paste it into a new image with a transparent background. After adjusting the size, selecting the move tool, drag the image onto our banner and place it there in the location we need.
Now we need text. To do this, select the “text” tool, enter the phrase we need and place it by simply dragging it over the picture as needed. After this, all that remains is to select “save for web” (save as) in the menu and, when saving, select the jpg image format.
