What's happenedeBay? How can it be useful to me?

We are sure that many of you have heard about the eBay auction, some have even read some articles and watched videos. Of course, it's worldwide famous company, which has a turnover of billions. In essence, eBay is a large online auction that combines the functions trading platform. Anyone can buy any goods here without leaving their home. Article on the topic:

How the auction workseBay?

The operating principle of eBay is not complicated and is as clear as possible. All users are divided into two types: sellers and buyers. One account allows you to both buy and sell products. No separate registration is required.

There are also two types of sales - auction (bidding) and fixed sales. If we are talking about an auction, then the seller puts up his goods, indicating the starting price, and the buyer already offers his amount that he is willing to pay. Bidding continues until the auction time ends, or someone offers a “blitz” price.

If we talk about sales at a fixed price, then the seller sets a specific amount for the product, and the buyer either agrees with it or not. Next comes payment for the goods and delivery. As a rule, payment is made through the PayPal payment system. Many sellers offer free shipping through internal mail of your country. You can pay for shipping, then the package will arrive faster.

Can I buy ateBay, if I live in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, the Baltic states, or other CIS countries?

Many people think that if they live in the CIS countries, then shopping in foreign online stores are inaccessible to them. This is a misconception that is formed due to insufficient knowledge and understanding of the shopping process. Modern world no longer has boundaries, and if you live in the outback of Russia, but have access to the Internet, and hold a working payment card in your hands, then shopping on eBay will not be any problem. Any products from any category will be delivered to you.

The only limitation is the possibility of delivery. Some sellers provide a list of countries to which they do not ship their products. BUT even in this case there is a way out - you can place an order through intermediary companies that receive the goods at their warehouse and then send them to you.

Article on the topic:

I do not speak English. How can I buy oneBay?

Just a few months ago, the answer to this question would have fit in one line - “go to ebay.ru.” The company met hundreds of thousands of buyers from Russia and made the interface in a language we understand. But quite recently, for reasons unknown to us, eBay.ru stopped working, and when you try to access the site, you will be redirected to the main website of the branch in the USA.

This way the entire interface will be on English language. Product descriptions and correspondence with sellers will also be conducted in English. What to do if you skipped English classes at school and understand absolutely nothing. There are several options:

  • Use online translators. They will help you understand at a basic level what and how, understand the site description, and write to the seller what you want.
  • You can use Google translator. He is in automatic mode will translate the entire site and all the pages you visit. Thus, you do not need to constantly copy and paste text fragments from the description of the product you are interested in.
  • Contact intermediary companies, indicating the lot of goods you want to buy. These companies will make a translation for you, place an order, and conduct correspondence with the seller. All you have to do is pay for their services and wait to receive the goods.

What are the commissions oneBay, and what will I have to pay for?

It's clear that eBay is not charitable foundation, and maintaining the operation of such a giant requires a lot of money. Therefore, users are subject to certain fees that they are required to pay.

It is worth noting that registration and membership on eBay is absolutely free. If someone demands that you transfer money for registration, or for changing your password, or similar actions, then you should know that these are scammers who have no relation to the eBay administration.

If you work on eBay as a buyer, then all auction services are free for you. You must pay for the purchased product and delivery (if specified in the terms of purchase).

If you decide to sell the product, you will have to pay certain interest. The auction collects funds from Sellers (the so-called Seller Fees) for putting the lot up for auction (Insertion Fee), and also in the case successful sale(Final Value Fee). You can find out more about the gradation of “duties” on the official eBay website. Within the framework of this article, we will not indicate specific numbers so as not to mislead you, because at the time of reading the situation at the auction may change.

How do I register foreBay?

The registration process is quite simple and intuitive. The system will ask you to enter your username, password, and email and personal data. You can also immediately enter your payment card details, and if you are not ready to do this at the time of registration, you can always postpone this procedure until later. But without details and card confirmation, you will not be able to place bets or buy goods.

Article on the topic:

How to correctly indicate the delivery address?

Many users face the problem of correctly specifying the address. And this question is very serious, because if you make mistakes, you may not receive your product, or it will go to another lucky owner.

Remember that during the registration process it is advisable to provide all data in English, or using the Cyrillic alphabet. Why is that? The vast majority of sellers on eBay are from the US and Europe. They do not understand the Cyrillic alphabet, and there may be problems with writing the address. In order not to take risks, and to protect yourself from possible embarrassment, indicate all addresses using the Latin alphabet.

Which card should I use to make purchases oneBay?

There is no fundamental difference here. The main thing is that your bank does not set limits on paying for goods on the Internet through this card, and also that there are funds on it.

It is advisable to have a card in foreign currency (dollars, euros) and make purchases with it. This will allow you not to lose extra money on conversion, and will save your purchase as much as possible.

eBaydoesn't want to accept my card. What to do?

Often newbies are faced with the fact that eBay does not want to accept their payment card. Or the card is accepted, but payments are not made through it. This is very inconvenient, especially if there are a few minutes left in the auction and you cannot place a bid. Here you need to quickly figure out what the problem is, and there may be several of them:

  • The card may not be activated. People often get a separate card to pay for goods online. This allows you to control costs and bring certain conveniences. But all new cards must be activated. To do this, you need to do some kind of operation (sometimes checking your balance at an ATM is enough). Large and serious banks activate cards when issuing them so that their clients do not encounter such troubles.
  • Check that the card information is filled out correctly - number, expiration date, CCV2 code.
  • Each bank has so-called stop lists. These are accounts, companies, individuals that were suspected of fraudulent transactions. You will not be able to conduct any transactions with them. Perhaps the seller to whom you want to send money is on such a stop list.
  • A trivial but very common problem is that there are not enough funds in the account. If your card currency is different from the payment currency, check the conversion rate. Perhaps it has grown, and now you are missing some tens of rubles.
  • If you are unsuccessfully trying to authorize a card, or make a payment online, and you no longer know what the problem is, call the bank. Operators will tell you what to pay attention to and why transactions are blocked.
  • Ask your bank managers to disable the CVV2 code request for your card (if possible).
  • Check your online bill payment limits. Many banks, in order to protect their clients from possible fraudsters, are putting zero limits on paying for goods via the network. You can change these limits in Internet banking, or at a bank branch, by setting the required amount, or by not limiting the possibility of payment at all.

What is "My eBay"?

This is your “members area” - a personal area on eBay. You can get into it by registering at the auction and then logging in. In the “My eBay” area, you can: enter and change personal information, configure various settings, view your purchase and sale history, track the items you have bid on, etc.

Can I see information about the users who placed a bid on the item I'm interested in?

Unfortunately no. This type of information is limited on eBay, and only the seller who listed the item can see the full details of everyone who bid. Data from potential competitors is not available to buyers.

There are numbers next to the bidder's eBay ID, what do they mean?

This is an extremely important parameter - the participant’s rating. It is equal to the number of positive - negative reviews. Immediately upon completion of registration, your rating equal to zero. After making a purchase or sale, your opponent leaves you feedback - positive, neutral or negative. Accordingly, one negative review reduces your rating by one, a positive one increases it, and a neutral one leaves it unchanged. You will receive a positive rating if your partner is satisfied with you, i.e. if you paid for your purchase on time or sent the sold product on time, having previously packed it well. Rating is the most important parameter on the eBay auction - based on it, your potential partners will decide whether to do business with you. Therefore, many advise, after registering an account, to make a couple of small purchases (glasses, perfume, CD, DVD, accessories cell phones), to create, albeit not a large, but positive image.

I bought (sold) an item. When can I leave a review, and should I leave it?

All bidders on eBay have the opportunity to leave feedback on each other's collaborations. If you are a buyer, then, as a rule, feedback should be left after the transaction has been completed. Indicate what you liked, what you didn’t like, give it a rating, give advice and wishes to future buyers. There are two rating systems: simple - where you write a review and give a positive, negative or neutral rating, and complex - where you evaluate several cooperation criteria on a 5-point scale.

The seller is more limited in terms of assessments to the buyer. He can leave either positive feedback or none at all.

To write or not to write a comment, while leaving a rating, is your personal decision. There is no such mandatory rule.

I was left a negative review – what should I do?

Negative reviews on eBay have a very significant impact on ratings and influx potential clients. Many experienced sellers try to work in such a way that even the most picky client leaves them either a neutral review or does not write anything at all. The last thing you want is to receive negativity, especially if you are a novice seller. But no one is immune from biased assessments. The only thing you can do is leave your comment under the review, explaining why this situation happened. There are several more options, but they are beyond the scope of this article.

Article on the topic:

What is Unpaid Item Strike?

Both buyers and sellers are protected on eBay. The buyer can always file a complaint against the fraudster, and, having proven that he is right, return the money paid. The seller is also not left without protection options. If a person wins a lot, but refuses to pay the invoice, then you can open a dispute “For unpaid goods.” The auction rules state that if you win a lot, you must buy it, otherwise sanctions from the eBay administration will follow.

If the payment issue remains open, the buyer receives a warning - “Unpaid Item Strike”, which is to some extent similar to a negative review. If there are several such warnings, the account is blocked.

How many warnings (negative reviews) must there be for an account to be blocked?

Nobody can tell you the exact numbers, because the eBay system algorithm is not known. But experienced users have noticed that if a short time receive 3-4 negative reviews of your activities, whether you are a seller or a buyer, your account will be blocked.

I accidentally deleted an item from My eBay. Is it possible to cancel this operation?

Under the “Buy” and “Sell” sections in My eBay there is a “Deleted” folder, which contains all the lots you deleted. Just select the desired lot and click “Undelete”. If you delete a lot from the “Watch list”, it cannot be restored, but you can find this lot again using the eBay search.

I don't receive notifications fromeBay.Emails are not arriving. How to fix?

There may be several options for solving the problem. First you need to figure out what is stopping eBay from sending you an email. It’s possible that the emails arrive but are placed in the spam folder, which you clean without reading, or the system regularly cleans it itself.

It's also possible that you simply haven't set up automatic alerts on eBay. Then you need to go to the settings of your personal page and indicate the appropriate data.

And the last option is that your email hosting blocks emails from eBay, considering them unreliable and carrying only spam information. Contact the administration of the postal service and ask to remove this restriction.

I asked 14 questions to buyers, but I can’t answer 15. What is the problem?

This is a banal antispam system. If you are new, eBay will limit your ability to ask questions. You can write no more than 14 per day. Over time, when your level of reliability increases, this limitation will disappear.

I have several accounts oneBay. Won't they be blocked?

The auction administration allows the option of owning multiple accounts. But there are certain restrictions, beyond which you will get banned. If you have two or more accounts, then under no circumstances should you:

  • Give yourself positive feedback and ratings
  • Use accounts to write negative reviews to other users.
  • Use accounts for the purpose of fraud or fraud

If you have a basic account, and you don’t use the rest, you can apply to have them removed. You can also merge all accounts into one, and comments and posts will merge.

Who are the intermediaries?eBay? Is it worth using their services?

Intermediaries are companies that act as a link between you and sellers at an auction. Very often their services are quite profitable, and sometimes even irreplaceable. You can contact intermediaries in the following cases:

  • It is not possible to ship the product directly from the seller to your country. Then the intermediary orders the goods to his warehouse and sends them to you from there.
  • There is no way to pay for the goods needed by the seller way. In this case, you send money to intermediaries, and they already transfer it to the seller.
  • There is no desire to deal with orders, correspondence, or enter into disputes. Intermediaries will do everything for you. You just need to indicate the number of the lot you are interested in and top up your company account. Then enjoy life and wait for your order.

How to protect yourself from scammers oneBay?

This is one of the very first and most important questions that novice eBay users ask themselves. It is clear that sending money to another country, to an unknown person, and receiving the goods only after a few weeks is a little dangerous. Therefore, the feeling of fear in such cases is completely justified. But if you know certain rules, then you can send large sums with peace of mind and calmly fall asleep every night, without fear that the goods will never arrive.

How to do this? Previously, we already devoted an entire article to choosing a seller on eBay, where we revealed all the secrets and aspects of this difficult task. For more information, read “How to Choose a Seller on eBay: Tips and Tricks.”

Even with a smaller amount.
  • It is prohibited to purchase goods off-site on Ebay. With such a cunning scheme, you cannot count on protection against fraud. After all, the seller and buyer make a transaction bypassing the auction. Accordingly, neither one nor the other receives any warranty or protection from Ebay.
  • You should not place bets just out of interest. If no one bids higher on Ebay, you will have to buy the item. Even if you don't need it. If you refuse to pay, you will have to prepare for any sanctions from the administration of the Ebay auction. That's why you shouldn't place any bids if you don't plan to purchase the item.

So, the entire process of placing a bet includes several simple steps:

  • product selection;
  • placing a bid and confirming.

Product selection

First of all, you need to find the desired lot. Have time to carefully read the description and price. If you are satisfied with all the conditions, you can place a bet. You shouldn't always trust only photos posted on Ebay. Some sellers try to mislead auction users. That is why it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the characteristics.

Everyone wants to know how to buy and win on Ebay. But it is equally important not to make wrong bets. To do this, you need to carefully study not only the lot, but also the seller himself. For beginners online auction Ebay We recommend paying attention to the rating. The most reliable partners can boast of a high score. Ninety-five percent and above.

Placing a bet

After familiarizing yourself with the lot and the seller in detail, you can make a decision. If all the conditions are satisfactory, you can simply place a bet by pressing a virtual button with a similar inscription.

How to place bets?

If you don't know the answer, it's impossible to know how to win an auction on Ebay. Advice from experienced users assures that this is important.

So, Ebay auction uses automatic bidding. First exhibited minimum price, which corresponds to the one indicated by the seller. Next, Ebay increases the bid instead of the potential buyer. Gradually, the auction brings it to the maximum level. That is why the buyer needs to be careful when setting the maximum price he is willing to pay for the offered lot.

How to win an auction on Ebay?

When setting the maximum amount, it is better to specify a non-integer number. For example, not 10 dollars, but 10.05. In this case, there is a chance to beat a competitor who will bid only 5 cents lower.

You need to be patient and wait for the auction to end. Statistics show that winning bids on Ebay are placed just ten seconds before the auction ends.

However, you need to understand that even this does not guarantee that the lot will go to you. Some Ebay sellers charge hidden prices. If it exceeds the bid, the lot cannot be purchased.

Program

You don't have to do it yourself to figure out how to win an auction on Ebay. The program can do everything for you.

For example, Ebay has ProxyBidding. This program monitors the auction every five minutes and even places bids instead of the user.

You just need to specify the maximum bet in advance. Next, a program comes into play, which trades as well as any real buyer.

However, when using the program, the lot will definitely need to be redeemed if you win. That is why, before using it, you need not only to have a confident intention to buy the lot, but also to prepare the specified amount in case of winning.

Today we’ll tell you about one interesting service, Rapidcatch. He belongs to the so-called “snipers”. The main task of the service is to place the lowest possible winning bid on an eBay auction a few seconds before the end of the auction.

But, in addition to the fact that the service helps you place a bid in the last seconds (this is what experienced buyers do at auctions), it has a number of other advantages:

  • If you indicate your maximum bid through the service, other auction participants will not see your interest in the lot (we’ll tell you how this works below)
  • This service is simply necessary for people who can go into a frenzy and pay more for a product than it really costs;
  • The service does not work, for example, like eBay's "Proxy Bidding" feature, which only encourages bidders to bid higher;
  • Lots can be combined into groups, specify the quantity of the item you want, and once you win the desired quantity, the remaining lots will be removed.

So how does it work

You need to go to the Rapidcatch website and enter your eBay account username and password. Rapidcatch is one of the oldest Russian-language services, so there is no particular reason to fear for your data. Don’t get confused and accidentally enter your email login; you will be blocked and allowed to try again only after 2 hours. It is important to note that the service is paid, but if you log in for the first time, you will have a free month with all the features available with a paid subscription. During this time, you will be able to fully appreciate all the advantages of the service. With prices ranging from $40 to $100 on similar English-language services, the $5 per month you'll pay if you decide to stay can be considered a purely symbolic amount. After a month, you can use the sniper for free with the following restrictions: one bid per day, no more than one active auction and access to basic functionality. If you only shop at auction occasionally, this is the option for you.

What's next?

Go to the “Profile” tab and change the “Standard bet time” from 5 seconds (default) to 3 seconds.

After that, go to the “Auctions” tab, and you can add lots.

Copy the lot number at the auction.

Paste it into the window that appears after clicking the “+Add auction” button.

Click “Submit”, and “Sniper” begins tracking the lot.

From time to time you can check and adjust the maximum bid if it has been outbid and you are ready to move up the amount a little more.

You can also cancel your bid, but no later than 10 seconds before the end of the auction.

Reliability of shipment

All lots purchased using RapidCatch will be obtained by Qwintry - we help with delivery from the USA, providing profitable terms and forwarding reliability. It will be most profitable to combine several purchases into one package. Experienced users know that the heavier the load, the less expensive each additional pound is. Therefore, place your bids, win and have your trophies delivered to our address, saving not only through the auction, but also through cheap transportation!
Well, that's all, happy shopping!

Most big internet auction in the world. Here you can place bets without leaving your home. In this article we will look at all the features of eBay and give tips for making purchases.

How to shop on eBay?

1. Registration
A fundamental operation that opens access to the purchase of goods and auction lots. To fully register an account, just fill in a few fields and accept Terms of use. The entered data, of course, should be remembered and used when entering the site. A registered profile is equivalent in all eBay branches, without restrictions.

Important: in the settings located in “My eBay”, you must specify your residential and delivery address in advance!

2. Product search
It is impossible to overlook the field for entering queries of interest - you can find any products, categories and lots through the search, the main thing is to remember the name or formulate the information correctly. It’s useful to sort drop-down results: price, date added, popularity, choose the most useful.

3. Seller rating
If the product you are looking for is found, inspected and selected as a suitable product for purchase, then two important steps should be taken. The first is to study the delivery method, limits, commissions and duties included in the price. Sometimes the product costs much less than shipping! Second, check the integrity of the seller: comments, reviews and guarantees.

4. Purchase of goods
In addition to direct sales on eBay, there is an auction system where the lot is drawn and transferred to the buyer. In any case, the purchase must be paid for and delivered. You can use three methods - direct purchase with a mailing address. If for some reason the seller has limited the list of countries that can receive the goods, then direct purchase will help, but using the postal address of the company renting space in the warehouse for a separate price in the seller’s country. Subsequently, the goods are collected by a separate postal organization. The third option is the help of an intermediary: an agreement with a specialist will simplify the purchase, payment and delivery of goods, but the price for such services is sometimes prohibitive.

5. Payment and delivery
The eBay marketplace accepts PayPal and Skrill, credit and debit cards, some bank transfers, commercial checks, and cash on delivery. Yes, it is useful to register an account with PayPal - increased security of financial transactions and impeccable reliability: guaranteed. As a rule, delivery to Russia, Ukraine and Belarus takes several weeks, it all depends on the seller and the chosen postal service. If the product is incredibly valuable, you can use property insurance - the operation is carried out directly on the site and is paid separately.

6. Receiving the parcel
With the notification in your mailbox, immediately go to the delivery address - enter the information and receive the purchased product! It’s useful to check the parcel at the post office, but it’s not necessary; if the dispute on eBay has been closed for a long time, then you still won’t be able to download your license.

Types of eBay sales

Registration on the site has been completed, the initial knowledge has been mastered, but the desire to purchase several products to try has only increased? Here's some new food for thought - types of sales on eBay:

1. Buy it Now (Fix price) – category of immediate purchase. All you have to do is select and add the item to your cart, and then you can pay and receive it.

2. Auction(Auction) - the product is raffled off for a certain time between buyers. The most generous participant wins. Important: you will have to pay for a purchase won at auction in any case. Refusal is not possible.

3. Buy it Now + Auction– sellers often combine two categories: you can save money by waiting for the auction results, you can receive the goods immediately, but, as a rule, it is more expensive.

4. Auction + Reserve Price– the reserved price function helps sellers set a minimum price for the product. If for some reason the amount is below the specified threshold, the transaction will not be completed.

5. Best Offer (Best deal) – lovers of trade disputes will be pleased to be able to personally bid on certain goods. The seller is not required to agree, but the opportunity is useful!

How does eBay auction work?

When publicly selling goods, the eBay marketplace adheres to innovation system automatic bids - a special mechanism that simplifies trading several times. It is easier to consider the operation of the system in a specific situation:

1. The lot is offered, the starting price is $10. Each bidder evaluates the product and sets the appropriate price to which he wishes to bid. All bids are hidden from both competitors and the seller; only the actual price of the lot is shown.

2. The main struggle took place between buyers “A” and “B”. “A” is ready to purchase a lot for $15, from which the initial price of the lot has changed and became $10.50 (initial price + auction step equal to 0.50).

3. But the offer of buyer “B” is higher - the bidder is ready to buy the lot for $20. The price changed again and became equal to $15.50 (buyer “A” offer + auction step depending on the current price of the lot).

4. From now on, buyer “B” is the main contender for winning the auction, and he will pay not the 20 dollars offered, but only $15.50 due to the convenient pricing system on eBay. Of course, the bid of buyer “B”, while the bidding is ongoing, can be outbid by other participants, including buyer “A”, who received notification of a change in leader by e-mail. If new buyers offer a price of 25 dollars, then the price of the lot will change again and become equal to 20.50 (buyer B’s offer + auction step). And so on until the end of the auction. It is important to remember that the auction step changes depending on the current price of the lot.

The system helps save time by placing a bid only a few times during the entire trading period.

Auctions won in mandatory are paid by the buyer - placing a bid, forgetting and refusing without consequences will not work. The system will punish you with a warning and ruin the reputation of the created account. If there are three warnings, then eBay will close the account and bury the opportunity to participate in the auction. To get a new account, you will need to change your first and last name, residential address, card and PayPal. However, you can bury your account with just one warning - sellers also look into the profiles of buyers and potential deceivers financial activities they don't lead.

How to win the auction

First of all, evaluate the product - look at competitors' offers on the Internet or on eBay, find out the cost of delivery and commission fees and form a maximum bid and subtract half. This is enough to test the resolve of other applicants - the cost of the goods will change several times, and it will calm down.

A few minutes before the end of the auction, you should enter into the last fierce battle for the auctioned item - it is ideal to place money in the last 60 seconds: the chances increase several times. But be careful: a poor-quality Internet connection and an unverified payment system can come in at the wrong moment and ruin the moment of the bet!

Time can also interfere with winning an auction - auctions, as a rule, take place during the day in the USA, when in Russia and neighboring foreign countries it is already deep night. How to defeat your opponents? With the help of auction snipers! Such programs place a user bid literally five seconds before the end of the auction. But here it is important to calculate the cost and plan everything, the program will do the rest automatically.

Rapidcatch will help you win - a sniper in Russian!

Shopping - what's the benefit?

Buying cars at auction is unprofitable - the reason for this is exorbitant customs duties and complicated delivery. As a rule, sellers do not ship the car - you will also have to hire an intermediary, and this additional expenses. And finally, it is not safe to make transactions based on photographs - what secrets does the iron beast actually keep in reality? You should not consider buying a computer and components and expensive mobile devices - the risk is real.

There is a high demand for collectibles and antiques, watches and clothing - the choice is endless, and choosing the desired delivery conditions will not be difficult. The most popular lots, of course, are from the “Trifle” category: screen films, protective cases, headphones and chargers, stickers and mice. Prices vary depending on seller and delivery.

Bidding principle

Sales

Anyone who wants to sell something goes through the registration procedure and becomes a Seller (for more details, see the Rules). Users who are just purchasing undergo easier registration.
The seller can put up an unlimited number of lots for auction; each lot usually contains one unit of goods, less often - several identical items that fit the same description. The lot looks like a separate web page and has its own number ( item#) and consists of the name of the lot, a description of the item being sold and its image. This web page is created entirely by the Seller. The name of the lot contains a short (no more than 145 characters) description of the product, a more complete description (you can use HTML language) is below, and the page ends with images of the item being sold.
The auction allows the Seller to upload only one image for free, which is quite enough. The lot can be put up for 3,5,7 and 10 days. All this time, buyers have access to the lot around the clock and can place their bids.

Purchases

The auction has a very powerful search engine (search), which allows buyers to find a particular product by the name of the lot (the matches of the words specified for the search with the words in the names of the lots are used). Also, all lots are divided into categories and subcategories (for example, you will find the “Smena” camera in the category Photo, Electronics -> Photography Accessories -> Cameras -> 35mm), which is also convenient, since buyers do not always know in advance what specific product they need. Once in the desired category, they choose the best one for themselves from among similar products. At the end of the lot period, the auction sends emails to the seller and the buyer who indicated the highest price with notification of the end of bidding for each lot. Each auction user has his own status page (My eBay), where he can also see all the information about bids made and/or open and closed lots. An auction user can be a seller of some lots and a buyer of others at the same time. Next, after the auction is completed, the Seller contacts the buyer of each lot via email (you will find a sample here), providing the details of the transaction, namely, to whom and how the buyer must pay for the lot. You are usually asked to pay by credit card, personal cashier's check or money order. As a rule, the seller sends the goods by mail only after receiving payment.

Rates

The site engine increases bids for the installed item depending on the cost of the lot.
For example: the step is 1 dollar, someone put 10 dollars for a lot, but you put 20 - in this case the price of the lot will be 11 dollars. If a little later another bidder makes a bid of $15, you will still be in the lead, and the price of the lot will increase to $16. If someone gives 30 dollars, then the cost of the lot will be 21 dollars, and the one who gave 30 dollars will already be in the lead. The auction will send you an email informing you that someone has outbid your bid. Some lots have the option Buy It Now- this means that the lot will be closed early if any of the buyers agrees to pay the amount specified in this option for the lot. The description of each lot contains the date and time the auction ends. We recommend that you place bids 5-10 minutes before the closing of the lot, in order not to attract unnecessary attention to the lot and not create unnecessary excitement.
Sometimes there is a mark near the current price for a lot reserve not yet met- this means that the cost of the lot has not reached the amount for which the seller is ready to sell the exhibited goods.

End of sales

At the end of the auction for each lot that you won, eBay(tm) sends you an email indicating the lot number ( item number), seller login ( User ID), the seller’s email address and the price for which the item was sold. As a rule, the seller also sends you an email indicating the cost of the lot, the price for shipping (usually the price for shipping in America is indicated) and a list of payment methods.

Reliability

There is a rating system at the auction. After a successfully completed transaction, the seller and buyer leave each other positive feedback. Accordingly, if the deal fails, this will immediately be reflected in the rating.
The number of positive (or negative) reviews is indicated in parentheses next to the username. Usually, before placing a bid, the buyer carefully studies the seller's rating. Those sellers who have more than 98% positive feedback are awarded the title "Honorary Seller". And of course, study and do everything yourself without intermediaries. For example, we have an intermediary, westernbid, who takes care of all the hassle for a small percentage. But they've already screwed over so many. In most cases it is simply sluggishness. An auction is where you constantly make the decision to upgrade or give away an item. The intermediary doesn’t care, it’s not his money. Happy shopping failed due to sluggishness.
