Formation of prices for goods and services. Creating a price list in Microsoft Excel How to print a price list on a computer

Instruction

The price of the goods has a certain range within which the manufacturer can carry out his price "maneuvers". The lower price determines the cost of goods, the upper - effective demand. Thus, setting a dumping price will lead to losses, and setting an overpriced price will lead to problems with the sale of goods. Important to choose best option.

When starting to calculate the price for a specific product, you need to go through several steps:
- set goals and objectives for pricing;
- study the demand for your product in the market;
- evaluate production costs;
- analyze the prices and quality of competitors' products;
- choose the pricing method;
- Calculate the initial price of the goods;
- consider all additional factors for price adjustment;
- set the final price of the goods.

From the three main pricing methods, choose the most suitable for you: 1. costly (it is based on all your costs for the production and sale of products);
2. focused on a potential consumer;
3. competitor-oriented.

If you prefer the basic cost method, first calculate the total cost of producing the product (this is the sum of the variables and fixed costs) and add the expected profit to them. amount received ( monetary equivalent expected sales revenue) divided by the number of units produced.

When determining a consumer-oriented price, the main criterion for you will be an adequate assessment of all useful properties your product. You must assume, as unmistakably as possible, that the benefit of using these useful properties will be a sustainable motive for potential consumers to purchase the product at the price you set.

If, when pricing a product, you are guided by the price of competitors, the main attention should be paid to the quality of their analogue product. If it is similar to yours, and does not exceed it, the price is set at the current level.

Many specific indicators can serve as evaluation criteria for comparing a product. For example, these:
- functionality product, its compliance with the latest technical achievements of science, customer needs, fashion trends, etc.;
- reliability;
- profitability (economical consumption when using goods of material, energy and other resources);
- ergonomics (convenience and ease of use);
- aesthetic qualities of the goods;
- environmental indicators;
- security;
- patent purity and protection;
- compliance with standards, unification;
- manufacturability of repair;
- transportability;
- the possibility of reuse and methods of disposal;
- after-sales service, etc.

Configuration: 1C: UNF

Configuration version: 1.6.6

Publication date: 13.03.2017

In the program 1C: Management small firm 1.6 there is a very handy tool for creating a company's Price List. The price list is set up once and can be used at any convenient time, the number of price lists in the program is not limited. You can create product price lists own production, sales of scraps of materials after production or the price list of a trade organization.

First, let's go to the price list directory.

We add a new price list and start filling in the header and basic details. We enter the name for example, you can name "Retail price list". Price list type:

1. Tightly - a list of nomenclature in 1 column, probably one of the most used in practice.

2. Two columns - has a compact look and does not involve the use of pictures.

3. Filmstrip (slides) - looks like a showcase of an online store.

The composition of the details is selected depending on your wishes, we will form a price list with pictures.

On the Item selection tab, you can specify the item group to be included in the price list. And below is a link Items that are excluded from this price list.

Let's set some exceptions. For example, in our stock list there are services and materials that should not be included in the price list.

Bookmark Columns with prices we add or remove the columns we need. We form a wholesale and retail price list.

Bookmark Additional Information . Details of the organization on whose behalf the price list will be formed, its date and presentation of balances. In order not to give out all the information, we can represent a numerical value in the form Few, Enough, Much. In order for this function to work, you must set the lower limit and upper limit of the balances in the item card.

To generate a price list, save it and select it from the list and click Generate.

Our price list with pictures appears on the screen. Very detailed and seemingly informative and readable.

Another interesting type of price list is filmstrip (slides).

The generated one looks something like this, similar to a showcase of goods from an online store.

Returning to the representation of residues in words. In the Nomenclature card, we set the values of the Lower limit of the balances and the Upper one. The calculation will be made as follows, the values near the lower limit is Little, the Upper limit is Much, the middle is Sufficient.

To have information about current prices and current balances is the task of any responsible sales assistant. In our recent publication, we considered ways to extract information on product balances from 1C. Now we will look at how to extract current prices from the program.
Virtually any configuration 1C 8 there is a standard processing price list formation. It can be opened in the reference book "Nomenclature", using the Print - Price List button. Other printing functions are available by the same button, but we are interested in the price. If not found, the processing of printing a price list in any configuration can be found in the menu Operations - Processing - Print Price List.

For correct data output, it is necessary to familiarize yourself with some processing features.

The price list is displayed on a specific date specified in the price list print settings.
When printing a price list, you can customize the list of products and prices included in the price list.
Setting up the list of goods and prices is carried out in the form "Setting the price list", which opens when you click the "Settings ..." button. Information about the available settings is located on the tabs: General, Grouping, Selection, Margins, Sorting, Printing.
The price list includes the ability to disable the display of product positions for which prices are not set. This can be done using the "Selection" tab. You can select one or more types of prices for which the price will be generated. On the "General" tab there is an option "Do not include in the price list products for which prices are not set." If it is set, then the price list will not include products that do not have a price assigned. This selection excludes goods for which prices are not set in the price list. If the price is set for at least one item from the list, this item is displayed in the price list opposite the price type for which the price is entered into the database.

Price List Print Settings

The price list may not include products that are not available at the enterprise.
Not many people know and not many people use the function of displaying the balance of goods in the price list. Displaying the balance in the price list is very convenient for sales representatives and sales assistants who do not have the ability to view balances online on a computer or tablet. Printed once a day (in the morning) data with prices and balances is enough to arm the personnel working in the fields. You can use duplex printing to save paper.
In the event that a specific warehouse (several warehouses) is set in the selection settings, then the current balances are calculated only for a specific warehouse (a group of warehouses). That is, when the flag is set and a warehouse is specified, those goods that are not available in this warehouse will be excluded from the list of goods shown in the price list.
The "Use properties and categories" flag enables or disables the ability to use the properties and categories mechanism when generating a price list.
As you can see, in practice, the variations in the formation of a price list are almost limitless. Below is a screenshot of the settings and the result of generating a price list with these settings. Try experimenting with the processing settings to get the kind of price list you need in 1C.

The purpose of any commercial organization- make a profit. To attract and interest customers, every entrepreneur first of all thinks about how to make a price list. The document performs two functions: the first is to provide information about the company, the second is to form a loyal attitude towards it.

A Few Rules

Any manager can make a price list for free, without using complex programs. But first you need to consider the standard norms for compiling a pricing sheet:

  • Informativeness. The price list remains with the client, and, unlike the manager, he cannot advertise and tell something additionally.
  • Memorability. The document should stand out from the background of others. The customer receives hundreds of price lists containing information from different suppliers. With the same price ratio, the client will choose the document that will attract his attention. It is more difficult for a colored sheet to get lost in a pile of identical white papers, so you should refuse to print a document on a regular black and white printer. Another way to "hook" a client is to make a price list on a sheet of higher density (up to 160 g/m2).
  • The presence of a company logo, for example. The client wants to see who he is working with, but he doesn’t have time to look for the name of the organization written in small print. It is advisable to move away from the use of template fonts (for example, Times New Roman), choosing a more modern one.
  • No spelling errors. Nobody wants to work with an illiterate manager.
  • Relevance. Prices must correspond to reality, therefore it is recommended to indicate the date of compilation of the sheet and its validity period.

There are some subtleties in how to make a price list. They are about content.

The following structural components are distinguished:

  • The logo and name of the organization (as a rule, they are placed at the top of the sheet and duplicated on all pages).
  • Block of contact information.
  • Document title ( offer, price list for the supplied equipment, price list for the placement of services, etc.).
  • A table with the names of positions and their prices, in a special way highlight seasonal promotions, bonus and discount programs.

Saving paper is bad form. Compressing the information to one sheet and writing it in small print, the customer's manager will not attract.

Classification

According to the form of presentation, two types of documents are distinguished.

  1. Paper - have in a trading floor. The buyer can take such a sheet with prices with him.
  2. Electronic - posted on the organization's website or sent to customers by e-mail. If the file is in the MS Office application format (doc or xls) or is intended for viewing in Acrobat Reader (pdf format), then it is easy to print it, that is, get a paper price list.

There is also a classification in terms of content.

  • Price list for goods. Represents a table, the columns of which contain information about the name of the goods, their properties (manufacturer, packaging, technical parameters), price. There can be several columns with prices, for example, for retail and wholesale customers.
  • Price list for services. This document should not be drawn up in the form of a calculation on specific view works. It is important to reflect the main types of services in the price list so that the client can estimate his costs as a first approximation. If it is impossible to calculate the cost of services, it is enough to quote the cost of an employee's hour of work. Overhead and transport costs, depending on the cost of the entire work, are estimated as a percentage.

MS Excel: instructions for use

Drafting documents on paper by hand is impractical. Maintaining an electronic price list is much easier than its physical counterpart. Inexperienced computer users know how to make a price list using the Word text editor. But this application is not always the best choice to maintain price specifications.

With the expansion of the company, the range of offered goods and services increases, and the tasks of filtering and sorting data arise. This is where spreadsheet functions come in handy.

Question users, can cause difficulties. A seven-step instruction will solve them.

  1. Open a new document.
  2. Add company information and corporate identity elements.
  3. Write a title.
  4. Come up with a name for the columns. At first, five columns will be enough: "Name", "Characteristics", "Quantity in stock", "Price per unit". If there are many products, it is desirable to enter the column "Product Category". Another way is to place products of different categories on separate sheets.
  5. Fill out the price list.
  6. Outline the boundaries of the resulting table.
  7. Highlight important items with color (for example, stock items).

How to make a beautiful price list for the site

Price specification and order form - necessary attributes of a website commercial enterprise. The advantages of an online document are its availability anytime, anywhere, ease of updating, and rich visualization capabilities.

Website developers offer several options for how to make a price list. The first method is simple, it consists in placing an icon on the site for downloading a file with prices. The second option is to make a page dedicated to the cost of the company's services. This solution will require more time to work, but the interactivity of the document will be a plus.

Setting and changing sales prices. Formation of a price list in 1C: Trade Management 8 ed.11.2

In a collumn dependent prices reflects information about those types of prices that need to be recalculated after a change in the settlement price.
Influencing prices influence the price calculation. (Fig.2).

Fig.2

Moving on to pricing

There are several options for filling out the list of nomenclature positions. We can manually select the range, add products by price group, and use random selection of products, etc. (Fig.3).

Fig.3

For example, we need to set prices only for those goods that are in stock, for this we press Edit lines → Add products by selection. In the selection window, check the box Only in stock, click fill and transfer to the document. (Fig.4).

Fig.4

As a result, the list of nomenclature was filled with goods that are in stock. (Fig.5).

Fig.5

After filling in the list of goods, we proceed to specifying prices that are set manually.

We can change prices by percentage by clicking Change prices → Change by percentage. In the new window, select the type of price, the percentage of change, and also determine in relation to which price to apply the percentage and which positions to recalculate. (Fig.6).

In our example, Dealer prices increased by 8% in relation to the new value (Fig. 7).

Fig.7

If conducted accounting by characteristics, prices must be fixed for each feature. (Fig.8).

Fig.8

After posting the document, the set prices will be registered in register Item prices.

Formation of the price list

For the formation price list go to CRM and marketing → Prices (price list). (Fig.9).

Fig.9

Click generate and set the price list setting and click OK. (Fig.10).

Fig.10

In this processing, we can view and change prices.
We can change the price manually. In this case, the program will prompt us to apply the changed prices. (Fig.11).

Fig.11

This price will be changed in the price list, but not in the register.
Now we can print this report by clicking Price List.

Also to form price list report go to the reports section CRM and marketing and create a new one. (Fig.12).

By default, a report will be generated for the current date and only for those price types that are used in the sale. (Fig.13).

Fig.13

This report reflects the price, as well as the balance of goods in the context of warehouses.
The price list can be generated from various selections- by price groups, by price types, by item group, etc.
