Management and marketing challenges of the 21st century. International scientific and practical conference "Marketing and branding - challenges of the XXI century"

You visit many cities, and for sure the audience in each of them is different. What is she in Yekaterinburg?

Why today, in the age of advanced technologies, when any information can be easily found without getting up from your chair, do people go to trainings? To find this very reason to open up?

It is important to understand what training is and how it differs from receiving information. Of course it can be called educational process for adults. But we at Business Relations do not sell information. All those concepts, ideas and categories that we are talking about are known to everyone - we are not discovering America. It's different here: a certain atmosphere and a safe space are created for people at the training, in which they can experience certain sensations, gain some experience, cook in this for three days. And for the sake of this unique opportunity, people come here. After completing the training, they have a completely different look at the information that they received before on the Internet, watching videos or reading something about us. They say: ah, so that's what it was about! I kind of read it, but it just now dawned on me. We are talking not so much about how to live, but about how people really live. What are their priorities now, internal conversations, what motives drive them when they take one step or another, and our task is to encourage people to take action.

You have been training for over twenty years. How has people's attitude towards training changed?

Cardinally. Previously, it was something incomprehensible and closed, they did not trust the programs: attending a training was compared to going to a psychologist - in America every second person goes to them, but in our country this was considered a deviation from the norm. Now all the information is absolutely open, official. The bulk of the trainings that we conduct are corporate programs, and they are mainly ordered by large successful companies of the Russian and international level, it cannot be said about them that they are not successful and they need to correct something. They are driven by completely different motives - they want to achieve extraordinary results, make a breakthrough, create new relationships.

in the open information space there is a high risk of running into scammers. How to protect yourself when choosing a training?

I propose to pay attention to several criteria: firstly, it is important to understand whether you need this particular training. If one of those whom you trust went to him and can recommend him, you should think in favor of such a choice. It is also important to find as much information about the program on the Internet as possible. Be sure to make sure that real people are behind this or that program, come to their office, arrange a meeting. It is better that these are people with a history, which means that if you come to the same address tomorrow, their office will still be there. Do not transfer money over the Internet without knowing why and to whom you are transferring it, because, of course, there are scammers, both in the tourism business and in the field of training. It seems to me that in these matters it is better to play it safe.

Tell us about your team.

We are selling, in fact, a certain system of relationships. Therefore, for us, the system of relations in our team comes first. We have certain values, and it is important for us that a person shares them. And if he is close to us in spirit, in worldview, in the system of relations, then this is our person. It is extremely rare in the history of the company when a person left after working for some time: either the person did not settle down right away, or has been working with us for many years. Openness, integrity, partnership and honesty are important to us.

You have three children. Are you a father or a teacher to them?

Previously, I had some kind of internal barrier: here I am - a coach, and I need to be so correct, official, and say the right things, and on the other hand there is me - dad, loving and caring. I remember a few years ago my eldest son had problems with his studies. I decided to talk to him about the choice: I tell listeners and students about it, why not talk about it with my own son? I built a dialogue with him, as with an adult, and, to my surprise, he understood everything, heard me. So now, with younger children, having some experience, it is much easier for me to communicate, convey to them important information. Another thing is that I convey it differently: in a loving, caring way. Sometimes I forget, and they ask: dad, who are you talking to now?

Tell us about international expansion business relations.

We already have a branch in Europe - our employee Derel reads trainings in English. We recently opened a representative office in New York and are currently adapting the program for Americans. I remember how long we were preparing for the visit of two American specialists - a lady who sells trainings, and a New York University professor who studies various ways and teaching methods. They were shocked: they say they thought that all the most advanced programs are only in America. But it turned out that Business Relations trainings are generally suitable for American students as well - a great product, great content, great context, it's just a matter of nuances, details that need to be addressed to their realities.

Vladimir Gerasichev's parents are journalists, and at one time he followed in their footsteps. As a student of the international department of the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, he created the journal "The Way to Yourself", where he began to get acquainted with training systems aimed at growth and development. In 1990, along with the deputies of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR, he became a participant in the seminar of Werner Erhard, which determined the choice of the profession of a coach.

While fools live in the world,
To deceive us, therefore, with hands.

What a blue sky!
We are not fans of robbery:
A fool doesn't need a knife
You'll lie to him from three boxes
And do with it what you want.

Originally located here feedback on training personal growth Vladimir Gerasichev written by me on December 30, 2011 at the age of 23. After 6 years, in 2017, I began to receive a large number of comments on it, including those with signs hidden advertising trainings by Vladimir Gerasichev. The seriousness of the topic, as well as the fact that now the residents of the CIS, the 4th year of the crisis, are more greedy than ever for such psychological courses, contributed to the fact that on December 21, 2017, being at the age of 29, I considered it my duty reconsider the review of Vladimir Gerasichev's personal growth trainings. Since the first version of this article, written by me in my youth (and stupidity), had a moderately positive connotation, for reasons of conscience I had to return to this topic again in order to correct myself and in the future, I hope, to save the people for whom my then article could serve as a call to action.

I note that at the time of writing this review, I am in a great position: I have real estate of a solid size in the center of the capital, my family has several cars, I, like my wife, do what I love, in addition to this I have an unconditional income, I independently form my own schedule and lifestyle, I have a lot of time for myself. My wife and I have been happily married for almost 10 years. This path has been traversed by us almost from scratch.

The following reflects my opinion about Vladimir Gerasichev’s personal growth trainings, just like about the Youth Business courses, whose founders Petr Osipov and Mikhail Dashkiev practice the same approach as Gerasichev, humiliation, bullying and psychological breaking of participants. The same can be applied to other similar courses, which I would summarize as "express plants of human happiness."

I am posting the videos in the order in which I watched them.

How to add lightness to your daily life? MK Vladimir Gerasichev

A psychologist's view of personal growth trainings "LIFESPRING" and the like. Or training for the "humiliated"

http://svetlvaler.livejournal.com/927.html - the link provides an analysis of the training "Context or the Art of being happy" by professional psychologists. In this analysis, Gerasichev's methods lend themselves to justified criticism, and his activities as a whole are presented as pumping money under the influence of a strong theatrical effect. He is caught as an irresponsible person practicing psychological methods not for its intended purpose and achieving results at the cost of complete suppression and breaking of people who bring money to him. In general, a talented swindler, something like our Slesarchuk, in whose case a trial is underway (see ""). I I fully and completely agree with the conclusions of this analysis, as well as with many useful additions in the comments to it, and I recommend it for mandatory review if, God forbid, you are thinking about attending Gerasichev's trainings.

I can't help but mention that I think the vast majority psychological trainings absolutely useless and even harmful. They offer some abstract universal solutions problems of every person on earth, which is utter nonsense. But the trainings of Comrade Gerasichev and the Business of Youth stand a little apart. The cruelty with which people break down on them seems effective, because the participant himself confirms this. But all this is only at first glance. After the beautiful show-picture, played out by a professional leading actor, dies down, the person will again remain in the same swamp as he was. He only felt the illusion of a solution, while real changes require consistency and consolidation, and this is long, hard, and does not bring as much money as a 5-minute abuse of a person ...

What people need universally is healthy lifestyle life, to feel clear, cheerful and confident no matter what you do, a good environment, love, support that inspire and keep interest in life, prosperity so that you can afford both the first and second, and there was time to know yourself. And not to plow at work from 9:00 to 18:00, having 2 hours of time for myself before going to bed, all my life. At the same time, we should not forget that happiness is a deeply individual and subjective thing. And it is impossible to give any universal advice on how to get all this for a specific individual, because everyone has completely different desires and initial conditions, and everyone looks at the world through their personal 2 windows. Any training ignores this. A person who comes there can plow for $ 200 a month among embittered stupid drunkards, and they will tell him about “positive attitudes” and other crap, when it is extremely difficult to offer an unambiguous plan on how to change his life, because, firstly, it is required a fantastically complex solution, and secondly, even what has already worked for one may not work at all for another. That is, no one can ever know for sure how to do it.

Such trainings only create a short-term illusion for people that the truth has been revealed to them, that they have shared supposedly secret knowledge that only such actors allegedly possess. At the same time, the boobies are told that it is these fragmented knowledge, "fail-safe tricks"— this is the key to success. At the same time, life is made up of thousands of factors, just luck, in the end, in the total number of which the importance of all this fragmentation is often simply ridiculous. Ultimately, the person who was much more fortunate in life with the initial conditions tells how cool he is and how much he understands to those who are much less fortunate. He invites them to become as cool as he is in just a few days and a thousand or two rubles. Often, completely ignoring the contribution of all the circumstances of his life from his very birth, and that he himself developed his habits for far more than a few days, and it is simply impossible to jump from level 0 to level 100 without passing the remaining 99.

Mass trainings are pure swindle, although they give a short-term motivation, which is a necessary, but far from sufficient condition for change. In view of the foregoing, I would not recommend personal training either ... Only my own personal path in life. What will surely work for any person is to get passionate about something, go make your mistakes, draw conclusions, make more mistakes, draw conclusions, and so on in a circle, until you come to desired result, or you will not change the object of passion.

From the author
This book is a call to action. The problems we face tomorrow will be completely different from today's; perhaps to the reader they may seem strange and far-fetched. But we are living in an era of profound change, one that surpasses in magnitude and potential consequences both those that occurred as a result of the Second Industrial Revolution in the middle of the 19th century, and those that were caused by the Great Depression and the Second World War.
