Certificate for paronitis pon a. Paronite PON-B, PMB and others
General purpose paronite grade PON (A) is manufactured in accordance with GOST 481-80 from a rubber compound based on synthetic or natural rubber with the addition of chrysotile asbestos fibers and modifying additives.
Paronite PON (A) is used for the manufacture of gaskets that seal one-piece flat joints of mechanisms and apparatus. At correct installation paronite gaskets in the sealed unit ensures complete tightness of the sealed joint. The material is produced in the form of sheets with a thickness of 2.0 to 6.0 mm, dimensions from 500x500 mm to 1500x3000 mm. By agreement between the consumer and the manufacturer, it is possible to produce gaskets according to approved regulatory documents customer.
Paronite PON (A) is the most common gasket and sealing material. He lends himself easily machining: cutting and felling. The yield strength of paronite is 320 MPa. At this pressure value, the material begins to “flow”, filling all leaks, sealing the joint. When choosing a paronite sheet, its required thickness should be correctly determined. The thinner the sheet, the more effective the sealing. But on the other hand, the thickness of the paronite should be sufficient to fill the connecting lock - “thorn-groove”, “trough-ledge”, etc.
Paronite and products made from it can be used in cold, temperate and tropical climates.

Acceptance
Paronite PON (A) or gaskets made from it are accepted in batches at the factory by the section technical control. Visual control is subjected to 100% of products. Acceptance is carried out according to the standards established by the Interstate Standard, or according to a standard agreed with the customer. For compliance with mechanical and physical properties products are checked selectively, in the amount of several pieces from the batch.
Each batch of paronite PON (A) is accompanied by a quality certificate with the results of acceptance tests attached.
manufacturer's warranty
Subject to the conditions of transportation and storage in accordance with GOST 481-80, the manufacturer establishes a warranty period for the storage of general-purpose paronite of the PON (A) brand and gaskets from it - two years from the date of manufacture of the products.

The distance from the sample to the edge of the sheet is at least 30 mm.
4.2, 4.3. (Revised edition, Rev. No. 3).
4.4. The density of paronite is determined according to GOST 24039, while deviations from individual determinations by no more than 10% of the norm are allowed.
45. Determination of tensile strength conditions
Samples are cut out with a size of 20x110 mm with a maximum deviation of +0.5 mm, in the direction transverse to rolling. The samples are kept for (60 + 5) min in an oven at a temperature of (110 + 5) ° C, while the samples must be located in such a way that free access of air is provided over their entire surface. Then the samples are cooled for at least 30 min in a desiccator according to GOST 25336 filled with calcium chloride according to TU 6-09-5077 at a temperature environment(23^) °C.
Measure the thickness of the samples.
The samples are clamped in a tensile testing machine with a clamp spacing of (50+2) mm and a movable clamp speed of (250+10) mm/min and torn.
The rupture of the samples is carried out no later than 10 minutes after their removal from the desiccator. If the sample breaks at the place of its clamping, the test result is not taken into account and tests are carried out on a new sample.
The error of changes should not exceed 1% of the measured load.
Conditional tensile strength (G) in megapascals (kgf / cm 2) is calculated by the formula
where P is the load that causes the sample to break, N (kgf);
S is the cross-sectional area of the sample before testing, m 2 (cm 2).
The test result is taken as the arithmetic mean of the results of all determinations, rounded up to a whole number, while deviations from the norm for individual determinations by no more than 10% are allowed.
(Revised edition, Rev. No. 4).
4.6. The increase in the mass of paronite in liquid media is determined according to GOST 24037, while deviations from individual determinations by no more than 10% of the norm are allowed.
(Revised edition, Rev. No. 4).
4.7. The decrease in mass in liquid media is determined according to GOST 24037 on samples of 20x20 mm in size with a maximum deviation of +0.5 mm.
(Revised edition, Rev. No. 5).
4.8. The compressibility and recoverability of paronite is determined according to GOST 24038, while deviations from individual definitions are allowed by no more than 10% of the norm.
(Revised edition, Rev. No. 4).
4.9. Determination of sealing ability
4.9.1. Paronite grades PON and PA, PON-A, PON-B, PON-V are tested for sealing ability in a steam environment in a laboratory autoclave of the AP-1 type (Fig. 1).
Nine ring samples of paronite with an outer diameter of (120+1) mm and an inner diameter of (80+1) mm, coated with oil graphite paste (composition: mineral oil with kinematic viscosity at 100 °C (6-11) m 2 /s 65-85% and graphite according to GOST 5420 or GOST 5279 15-35%) are clamped between the flanges (steel 40X according to GOST 4543) of the manifold. The presence of lubricant on the end part of the samples is not allowed.
(Revised edition, Rev. No. 4).
The tests are carried out at a vapor pressure in the collector (10+0.5) MPa [(100+5) kgf/cm 2 ], pressure on the samples (22.5+0.5) MPa [(225+5) kgf/cm 2 ], collector temperature (450+10) °C and test time (30+2) min.
Samples provide tightness of sealed joints if there is no steam leakage during the test.
4.9.2. Paronite grades PON, PMB, PMB-1, PA, PON-A, PON-B, PON-V are tested for sealing ability in liquid media in a laboratory autoclave of the AP-2 type (Fig. 2).
Kerosene is used as a control liquid.
Nine annular samples of paronite with an outer diameter of (120+1) mm and an inner diameter of (80+1) mm, coated with oil graphite paste, are clamped between the manifold flanges. The presence of lubricant on the end part of the samples is not allowed.
The tests are carried out at a pressure of the liquid medium in the collector (15+0.5) MPa [(150+5) kgf/cm 2], while the pressure is raised gradually every 15 minutes by (2.5+0.5) MPa [( 25 + 5) kgf / cm 2], pressure on the samples (32.4 + 0.5) MPa [(324 + 5) kgf / cm 2], temperature of the liquid medium (20 + 5) ° С and test time at the specified parameters (30+2) min.
Samples ensure the tightness of the sealed joints, if there is no leakage of kerosene during the test.
4.9.1, 4.9.2. (Changed edition, Rev. No. 1, 4).
4.10. (Deleted, Rev. No. 1).
