B.1 The norms and method of monitoring the indicator "mass fraction of unsaponifiable substances" in sunflower oil are given in Table B.1.

Determination of the mass fraction of unsaponifiable substances - according to GOST 5479.

Calculation of the energy value of vegetable oil

Energy value, kcal / 100 g, is calculated by the formula

Energy value = 9 (100 - W - N),

where 9 is the coefficient of energy value for fats, kcal / g - by,

W- mass fraction of moisture and volatile substances,%, - according to GOST 11812.

N - mass fraction of non-fat impurities,%, - according to GOST 5481.

D.1 Glass bottles with sunflower oil are packed in wooden reusable boxes according to GOST 10131 (No. 18,26,27) and GOST 11354, as well as plastic reusable boxes for bottles according to the document in accordance with which they are made, and corrugated cardboard boxes according to GOST 13511.

Glass bottles are packed in wire reusable boxes according to the document in accordance with which they are manufactured, as well as in containers-equipment in accordance with GOST 24831 only for local sale.

D.2 Packages with sunflower oil are packed in corrugated cardboard boxes No. 9 according to GOST 13511.

D.3 Bottles from polymer materials with sunflower oil are packed in corrugated cardboard boxes in accordance with GOST 9142 and GOST 13516 or other boxes according to the document in accordance with which they are made, ensuring the safety of products, or they are formed for packaging in shrink film in accordance with GOST 25951 or other film with similar properties according to the document according to which it is manufactured. Group packaging is formed using trays or pads made of corrugated cardboard according to GOST 7376, or cardboard for consumer packaging according to GOST 7933, or without gaskets. Group packaging is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 25776.

D.4 If necessary, products packed in shrink film are formed into bags on flat pallets in accordance with GOST 9078 or GOST 26381. To fasten packages into a bag, polyethylene film is used according to GOST 10354, steel tape according to GOST 3560, polypropylene tape or stretch film according to the document in accordance with which they are made.

Palletizing is carried out in accordance with the requirements of GOST 22477, GOST 23285 and GOST 24597.

When forming transport packages using a shrink film, it is not allowed to weld it with a group packaging film.

D.5 Bulk sunflower oil is poured into aluminum flasks according to GOST 5037 with sealing rings made of oil-resistant rubber according to GOST 17133 and other materials approved for contact with vegetable oils in in due course, in non-galvanized steel barrels for foodstuffs in accordance with GOST 13950, in barrels made of polymeric materials approved for contact with vegetable oils in the prescribed manner, in railway tanks and tankers, and also, in agreement with the consumer, in other types of containers that ensure the safety of products and made from materials approved for contact with vegetable oils in the prescribed manner.

It is allowed to use other equipment with technical and metrological characteristics not worse and reagents in quality not lower than those indicated.

E.4 Preparation for determination

E.5 Conducting a determination

E.5.2 The flask with the analyzed oil sample, prepared according to D.5.1, is placed in a water bath with ice so that the contents of the flask are completely covered with ice water, and kept for 5.5 hours at a temperature of 0 °C, periodically adding ice to maintain the specified temperature.

After that, the flask with the analyzed oil sample is removed from the water bath and visually inspected for the presence of fat crystals or turbidity, taking care not to mistake small dispersed air bubbles for fat crystals. It is recommended to view the analyzed oil sample against a dark background at a distance of about 2 m from the dark background.

The test is considered positive if the analyzed oil sample is completely transparent (the test is passed).

If necessary, the test is continued for more than 5.5 hours. In this case, the analyzed oil sample is tested every hour, returning after each inspection to the ice water bath as quickly as possible so that the temperature of the oil does not increase.

(mandatory)

cold test

E.1 Scope

The method applies to vegetable oils and is intended to assess the effectiveness of the removal of waxes and wax-like substances during freezing.

E.2 Essence of the method

The method is based on determining the stability of the analyzed sample of the product to turbidity under the conditions established by this method.

E.3 Equipment and reagents

Glass according to GOST 25336 with a capacity of 400 cm 3.

Flask according to GOST 25336 with a capacity of 250 cm 3.

laboratory funnel according to GOST 25336 with a diameter of 100-110 mm.

Liquid glass thermometers in accordance with GOST 28498 with a division value of 1 ° C, allowing you to determine the temperature from 0'C to 150 ° C.

Electric stove according to GOST 14919 closed type.

Water bath providing temperature maintenance (2511) 'C.

Water bath with ice.

Filter paper according to GOST 12026.

Paraffin according to GOST 23683.

It is allowed to use other equipment with technical and metrological characteristics not worse and reagents in quality not lower than those indicated.

E.4 Preparation for determination

E.4.1 Sampling - according to GOST 5471.

E.5 Conducting a determination

E.5.1 In a glass according to GOST 25336 with a capacity of 400 cm 3, 200-300 cm 3 of the analyzed oil is filtered through a paper filter. A glass of a filtered oil sample is placed on an electric stove according to GOST 14919 and heated to (130 ± 1) °C with continuous stirring.

NOTE The purpose of preheating is to remove traces of moisture and destroy any centers of crystallization that may have persisted, as these may cause haze or premature crystallization.

When the temperature reaches (130 ± 1) °C, the heating is immediately stopped.

Hot oil is placed in a flask according to GOST 25336 with a capacity of 250 cm 3, filling it completely, closed with a stopper that ensures tightness, and thermostated in a water bath at a temperature of (2511) 9 C. When using a cork stopper, it is sealed with paraffin according to GOST 23683.

D.5.2 A flask with an analyzed oil sample, prepared according to D.5.1. placed in a water bath with ice so that the contents of the flask were completely covered with ice water, and incubated for 5.5 h at a temperature of 0 °C. periodically adding ice to maintain the specified temperature.

In this case, the analyzed oil sample is tested every hour. returning after each inspection to the ice water bath as quickly as possible. so that the oil temperature does not rise.

■ unrefined - 4 months;

    Refined deodorized - 6 months;

    Bulk -1.5 months.

E.2 The document confirming the eligibility of establishing expiration dates exceeding the minimum guaranteed ones can be an order of the head of the enterprise - the manufacturer of products, based on the data of the test report and the conclusion of the authorized bodies.
