Instruction: all possible ways to disconnect from the services of providers in Israel. New offers from Cellcom TV

In the context of the radical transformation of the Israeli telecommunications market, the key problematic point for users remains disconnection from the service of the telecom operator.

Customers of telecommunications companies spend a lot of time, effort and nerves to get through and disconnect communication services. In turn, service providers in every possible way prevent their subscribers from disconnecting from the company's services.

In order to properly perform the shutdown process, the company IPayLess advises to send official letter telecom company by e-mail and dub it to a fax.

Mandatory details of such a letter: customer's teudat zeut number, the last four digits of the means of payment with which you pay this service, First and last name of the client, actual address of residence, valid contact number(preferably several).

REMEMBER A: Incorrect or incorrect data releases the company from disconnecting the subscriber who cancels the service.

Below are the data of all companies providing communication services in Israel (fax numbers and e-mail addresses) for the client's request to disconnect from telecommunication services:

The second way to disconnect from communication services in Israel is the Netek electronic service.

The Netek website is a free service that allows you to send an application to disconnect the communication provider in accordance with the law, from which it follows that within three working days from the date of the application, the company is obliged to stop providing its services to the client and withdraw money for services.

If the company continues to withdraw money from the client after this period, the client can file a claim against this company and receive compensation from it in the amount of up to 10,000 shekels.

How it works?

The Netek Internet Service provides an opportunity to formally request the termination of the services of most telecom providers in Israel. This request is made by the client by filling out a specific form on the site, after which the created application is sent to the official fax of the company from which you disconnect.

For its part, Netek provides the user with a notification that a fax has been received by the company from whose services you want to disconnect. A copy of the sent document is also provided to the client by e-mail.

1. Select the logo of the desired company.
2. Fill out the form in accordance with some rules:
- number of the client's teudat zeut;
- the last 4 digits of the means of payment with which you pay for this service;
- Name and surname of the client;
- actual address of residence;
- valid contact number;
- in the "Type of service" section, it is important to select the item of the type of service that you need to disable;
- enter a valid e-mail.
After filling out the application, you need to click the "I was disconnected" button.
3. The client receives an email with a "I've been disconnected" button to click on.
4. Netek then faxes your completed form to the company you wish to disconnect from. After the company receives your fax, the Netek website will send to your email address notice of delivery to the company of your application and a copy of this document.

IMPORTANT understand that the failure to receive a second letter from Netek with a copy of the document in it means that the addressee (the company from which you are disconnecting) did not receive your request to disconnect the communication service and you will have to do these steps again!!!

The same is true in the opposite case: the letter you received from the Netek website indicates 100% delivery of your application.

1. The first thing to do is to save a copy of the document in the second letter from the Netek service.
2. Wait up to 3 working days for a call from a representative of the company being disconnected.
3. When you are contacted, in the conversation you need to insist on disconnecting and get the number of the appeal in which you were disconnected from the service, and write it down for yourself in case the telecommunications company continues to charge money for "provided services".

If you are not contacted within 3 working days, this means one thing - the telecom company ignored your fax and you were not disconnected!!!

In this case, you need to call the service department of this company, ask the operator to disconnect from the company's services retroactively (when your application is submitted), name the appeal number that is in the fax confirmation copy from Netek.

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER: without a conversation with a representative of the company, the disconnection cannot be made !!!

A legal licensed TV package costs only NIS 99 per month.

The same thing is happening to the Israeli TV market lately as it happened to the cellular communication market a few years ago.

Old-timers still remember the only operator mobile communications in the early 90s. Then only people with means could afford this “luxury”, a mobile phone was undoubtedly a status accessory. And then there was a surge, literally a tsunami, “a mobile phone for everyone”. New companies came in and turned mobile communications into an affordable product.

In the last 2-3 years there has been another leap in consumer consciousness. Cellular communication has become practically a service of prime necessity.

As consumer awareness rises (think of public rallies with tents on Rothschild Boulevard), no one is willing to overpay for everyday services. The Israelis were outraged, and to the point. We are an expensive country, but we are no longer ready to pay unreasonably much.

Why did television broadcasting become on a par with essential products? Yes, because the consumption of television products - news, series, movies, entertainment programs, and, of course, the VOD library - has become an integral part of our lives. Today, no one is wondering how television comes to us - by cable wire underground, from satellite or via the Internet. It exists and that's it. TV on a huge screen in the living room, in a smartphone, in a computer, tablet... This is no longer a luxury, but a must. It should be so, and we are ready to pay a moderate price for it, no more. But there is one BUT, which many do not pay attention to. As they say, ignorance of the law does not remove responsibility for its violation. We have a huge number of non-transparent companies offering "all-all-all" channels, and not always having the rights to broadcast in Israel. So, don't be surprised if tomorrow your "all-all-all" channels will disappear together with the company that sold you the "box" - the decoder.

If we look at the market for legitimate, licensed TV broadcasters, then there is an obvious revolution, the next stage, made possible by the entry of mobile communication companies into the TV market, for example, Celcom TV. Ironically, first TV “leaked” into the smartphone, and now famous company mobile communication declares “we look at the world differently!”, and brings its own vision of the market. Two components are important here - the price and what is included in the package.

Remember those endless conversations with representatives of cable or satellite TV companies about what exactly your subscription includes? These painful attempts to “pack” at a more or less acceptable price Israeli news channels, films on VOD, Russians for grandmother, children in Hebrew, sports for husbands and National Geographic “for the whole family”? Forget!

Selcom TV was the first to pick up the “consumer baton”. Yes, yes, the same Selcom that once turned a mobile phone from a status symbol into an essential attribute for everyone. VOD? TV series? Sport? Russian channels? Children's programs in Hebrew? Drop this TV puzzle. You have something to do, something to spend your time on. NIS 99 per month is ALL you need to know about your legal licensed TV package. Notice, not 250 and not 270 NIS. Your broadcaster should take care of the rest. So far, this offer has no equal on the market.

To feel comfortable in the 21st century, people most often need such necessary things as communication with the outside world: mobile, Internet and television.

It's hard to make a choice when you come to new country and all companies are unfamiliar. Below is an overview of the largest and most popular operators in Israel.

There are two main telecommunications companies in Israel that provide the city telephone service: Bezek and Hot. When considering the cost of a service, keep in mind that some companies charge a one-time setup fee in addition to the monthly fee. Voice mail, caller ID, and internet are available for an additional fee.

Adviсe:

After contacting the telephone company, the line should be installed within two to three days.
For a fee, you can choose your own phone number (available if you use HOT).
Hot Company numbers start with 077 instead of the normal area code. This is convenient when moving to another area (for example, from Haifa to Jerusalem), as your number will remain assigned to you.
When you call a mobile phone from your home, you pay premium rates.

Internet connection

In order to set up an Internet connection, two types of providers are needed: Tashtit (infrastructure) and Sapak (provider). You must use two different companies for separate services.

There are currently two providers for Tashtit in Israel: Bezek, the same company that offers telephone service, and Hot, primarily a cable television company.

Bezek should not be confused with Bezeq International, which is a Sapak (Internet Service Provider).

Internet Service Providers (ISPs)

Below is a list of major Internet Service Providers. Each provider offers a range of different packages, we won't cover them here as offers and prices change frequently. Check them out on the official websites and choose the one that suits you best.

Adviсe:

You can and should bargain with Internet providers.
When the period of validity of the service you ordered comes to an end, do not rush to call and renew, your Internet provider will call and offer a particularly attractive pricing policy with discount. Otherwise, the monthly subscription fee will be higher than before.
Some ISPs include Tashlit service, sometimes at a lower cost.
Your ISP will provide you with a free address Email. However, we recommend that you use your usual e-mail (eg GMail) so that if you decide to change the provider, your mailbox with contacts will not be lost.

Internet "kosher"

Several ISPs offer filtered Internet with restrictions on the sites you can visit.

Israeli television

Israeli public television includes channels 1, 2 and 10.

You will receive an invoice from the Israeli Broadcasting Association (רשות השידור), with a TV tax bill. This is an annual payment that is mandatory if you own a TV.

Returnees are entitled to receive a discount in the first year of their stay in the country (from the date of purchase of the TV), provided that the purchase is made within the first two years after aliyah. To receive the discount, send a letter with the teudat zeuta number and the actual address by fax, to the number * 6688, or by e-mail one to one of the addresses listed in http://www.iba.org.il/v1/index.aspx? classto= ContactUS (at the bottom called "Agaf Hagviya" there is a list of email addresses in the city).

If you do not have a TV, then you need to send an email about it every time you receive a bill.

Citizens who have reached retirement age are exempted from paying TV tax. Retirement for women is 62 and for men it ranges from 65 to 67.

Cable and satellite TV

In addition to Israeli TV programs, there are cable and satellite providers that offer packages with a wide range of international programs. When choosing a cable or satellite provider, keep in mind that you will need to pay a one-time installation fee and a deposit for the cable box, in addition to the monthly fee. For each additional cable of the box you have to pay extra. Some companies offer a one-time payment without subsequent monthly payments.

Yes company offers the following channels in Russian

Mobile operators

Until 2012, there were 3 main mobile operators in Israel: Pelephone, Orange and Celcom. Celcom was the market leader.

In the summer of 2012 there was a revolution in the market of mobile operators and 5 new companies entered the scene. Among them, HOT Mobile and Golan Telecom offer unlimited plans for just NIS 99 per month. This prompted other companies to reconsider their pricing policy.

Today you can get a mobile communication package from 9 shekels per month (kosher). Unlimited SMS and calls to local numbers, calls to landlines and mobile numbers abroad at a discount or free of charge will cost 39 shekels per month. 99 shekels - unlimited + 3 gigabytes of internet.

International calls

It is important to note that not all packages include international calls. Some plans allow you to call certain countries. International communications may vary at different speeds, so read the fine print.

Please note, there are plans that are suitable for older phones, and some are only for the 3rd generation.

Adviсe:

Family plans tend to be very low prices(and sometimes free calls to selected numbers).

Usually the contract is concluded for a minimum of 18 months (a law was passed according to which contracts longer than this period are illegal). Nevertheless, you can often find contracts that are concluded for 36 months.

When buying a contract mobile phone, you need to take teudat zehut and your bank details.

You can pay your phone bill with a credit card or directly from your bank account.

Prepaid phones are available from most carriers, but they are very expensive.

"Kosher" mobile communication

All major mobile operators have "kosher" packages that do not have internet or SMS. They are usually very cheap.

IP telephony (VoIP)

Most ISPs offer a VoIP option with an Israeli phone number. Often they have a very attractive package when ordering internet.
International IP Telephony (VoIP)
In most countries, you can purchase international telephone line VoIP. Some of them (Skype) require your computer to be on during calls, while others (Vonage) do not require the use of a computer.

Some VoIP service providers only work within the market or country (Vonage) so you must pay with a credit card from your country. Some international VoIP service resellers in Israel do not have this restriction.

Cancellation of the service

When you try to cancel a service, the provider usually tries to offer you better terms.
If you cancel the service, it is recommended that you do so in writing and send by certified mail (don't forget to keep your receipt).
