How to calculate the number of ribbon rolls for a label?

The distance between labels glued to the substrate is usually 2 mm. If you know the dimensions of the labels and the distance between them, you can calculate the length of the entire roller.

For example, the label marking 58*40*600 is deciphered as follows:

• 58 mm – width;
• 40 mm – length;
• 600 – number of labels of a given size per roll.

The length of the roller is accordingly calculated using the following formula:

(label length + distance between labels)*number of labels per roll
