1С:PDM Version 2.6.2

The APPIUS company announced in November, 2012 a release of new release 2.6.2 joint with 1C firm of the branch decision on management of engineering data 1C:PDM. The changes affected the design and technological part, as well as the administration of the system. The new release adds the ability to copy technological operations, transitions, waypoints when dragging and dropping; In the Design Editor, you can immediately create several designs of one product by specifying the starting number and the number of new designs. As part of the administration, notifications are sent to e-mail for any system event, updating the representation of existing items by view, split the uniqueness check by view for items and revisions. New reports have been added, item search settings have been expanded, item items can be created in the selected group, etc. The use of a single complex 1C:PDM and 1C:UPP ensures efficient, competent enterprise management, which guarantees an increase in the quality of products.

Route map editor for 1C:PDM configuration

The component is designed to create and edit technological processes, as a result of which a standard 1C: PDM object is created - electronic technology, i.e. informational description of the production process, which includes a description of all the processes and means necessary for the manufacture of the product.

A feature of the "Route Map" Editor is that the development of the technological process goes directly in the form of a route map in accordance with GOST 3.1118-82, which is familiar to many technologists. This allows you to see on the screen a picture that is as close as possible to the one that will be printed. Thus, the concept of an “active document”, the WYSIWYG principle (“what you see is what you get”) is implemented, which allows:

facilitate the work of technologists who are unaccustomed to the technology tree interface; exclude multiple alterations of the same document; save financial and time costs when learning how to work with the system; quickly train employees with any level of computer literacy.

A route map in the Editor is a sequence of sheets located in one field, which eliminates the need to switch between them and speeds up the user's work.

Route editor 1C:PDM

APPIUS released the 1C:PDM Route Editor in the fall of 2012, which expands the functionality of the engineering data management system in the field of technological production preparation.

The route editor is a component for the 1C:PDM configuration, designed for the rapid creation and editing of routes, the creation of technological processes, the addition of basic materials and their norms. The Route Editor interface allows you to work not only with technological data, but also with the structure of the product, which allows the technologist to quickly create technological processes and routes for each part or assembly unit in the product, quickly copy the route or technological process, and see the technology for borrowed products. For standardizers The route editor allows you to automatically add the main material specified in the part to technological process. The editor interface allows the technologist to see all the parameters of parts and assemblies, such as weight, dimensions, area, etc. simultaneously with information on technology (route, technical process, workpiece dimensions, workpiece weight and consumption rates). By setting the column visibility display, you can change the editor interface in such a way as to leave only necessary information to solve the required problem.

The main tasks solved by the Route Editor include:

  • display of design and technological data in a single interface;
  • editing product and technology properties in one window;
  • creation of technological processes with assignment of designations to them;
  • creating routes with the formation of waypoints;
  • creation of route technology for products with indication of piece time;
  • copying a route or its parts from one product to another with automatic change of designation;
  • copying technological processes from one product to others;
  • copying parts of routes or technical processes;
  • adding the base material specified by the designer to the technological process;
  • operational analysis of the composition of the product of the presence or absence of technological processes / routes;
  • functions of automatic acquisition of assembly technical processes with components of an assembly unit;
  • functions of understaffing of assembly operations.

The route editor can be used by ACS specialists to quickly prepare data on product technology for systems production planning and production accounting. Methods of working with the Route Editor are unified with the main elements.

Analysis of production indicators

The APPIUS company released in June, 2012 processing "Analysis of production indicators" for use in a single complex: 1C: PDM Engineering data management and 1C: Management manufacturing plant.

Processing is active and, when positioned on a BOM element in the 1C:PDM system, it updates production indicators for the selected element. It is also possible to select the analyzed element of the composition through the explorer, after which the selected element will be displayed in processing in the corresponding field, and, in addition, the production indicators will be updated.

The production figures are divided into four sections:

  • General:
    • Nomenclature.
    • type of reproduction.
    • Route (unpacking)
    • Applicability (casing)
    • Price types
    • Price.

Remains in warehouses: a list of the balances for each warehouse is displayed, and in the totals - the balances in general for all warehouses.

  • Technology: a list of technological processes and routes by which the composition element is manufactured is displayed.
  • Resource specifications and production flow charts - this section contains two tables: a list of all specifications by nomenclature and flow charts associated with this specification.

This processing is provided to enterprises, users of the 1C: PDM solution, free of charge as part of technical support.

Methodological materials to speed up the implementation of the 1C:PDM system

APPIUS launched in the summer of 2012 new teaching materials on working in the 1C:PDM engineering data management system - “Entering paper-based design data into the 1C:PDM system”, which describes in detail the procedure and principle of work of specialists responsible for entering design data into the system at the implementation stage.

In the methodological materials, a variant of manual creation of the electronic structure of a product (ESI) based on the input of information from design specifications is analyzed. These materials allow you to create ESI from group and single specifications and further maintain it in an up-to-date form.

In accordance with the presented methodology, any employee of the enterprise can easily start entering information to create a single electronic archive in order to further transfer data to the accounting system.

New teaching materials are included in the kit, which includes instructions on the main subsections of the 1C:PDM system, and are issued free of charge after completing the training.

1С:PDM Version 2.6.1

The changes affected the design and technological subsystem, as well as improved interaction with the ERP system "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management" and CAD systems. New in version:

  • Product structure management
  • Preparation of specifications in parts and sections.
  • Decoration has ceased to be an independent element added to the composition of the product. Now the elements of this type play the role of communication parameters (as well as, for example, "Quantity" or "Units"). The design can act as a section of the specification (“Documentation”, “Assembly units”, “Parts”, etc.), as well as its parts (“Installed during electrical installation”, “Installed by”). The distribution of elements by sections makes it possible to correctly generate design reports in accordance with GOST, as well as quickly and conveniently edit the composition of the product. Elements can be moved from section to section, you can also create your own sections and parts of the specification. The ordering of elements is carried out within the section. If desired, the display of parts and sections can be disabled.
  • Automatic setting of positions and positional designations.
  • Now it is possible to automatically enter positions, as well as positional designations (for electronic components) in the product, which significantly speeds up the data entry process. Positional designations are affixed in accordance with the group to which the electronic component belongs, and its letter code (R, C, X, etc.).
  • Choosing how to add new parameters: to an element or to a link (in the context of applicability).
  • When adding a new parameter, you can choose whether the parameter refers directly to the element or refers to the element in the context of this applicability (ie, is a link parameter).
  • Changing the secondary view (image).
  • You can add an image (sketch, drawing, etc.) to any element in the secondary view window through the context menu.
  • Ability to display the selected element in the parent specification.
  • Multiple selection in the tree, as well as in the list of revisions.

Technology management

  • Completion of the composition of the assembly unit.
  • It became possible to complete the operation with the design composition of the manufactured product. The product is added to the picking and by calling the command in the action panel it is “expanded” into its component parts. This takes into account the quantity of the product itself.
  • Possibility to specify quantity for technological equipment.
  • Multiple selection in the tree as well as in the list of revisions

Design and technological reference

  • Ability to view resource elements in a tree.
  • Now you can enable/disable the display of resource elements in the tree for the entire directory (for the user).
  • Search for unclassified elements.
  • A predefined section “Unclassified elements” has appeared in the tree, which includes all standard, other products, materials and other resource elements used in product compositions and technologies, which have not yet been added to the directory in any of the resources.
  • The ordering of elements in a resource.
  • There was a possibility of arbitrary ordering of elements within the resource. Elements can be sorted according to the specified parameters, as well as moved manually - the set order is preserved.
  • Multiple selection in the tree.

Performance Editor

  • Editing of technological links.
  • Now it is possible to edit complex technology links (picking, manufactured products, technological equipment) through the version editor.
  • Replacement of the element for all applicability.
  • To generate a group notice, the execution editor now allows you to replace the element for all applicability, incl. and in technological processes and routes.
  • Navigate to the associated change notification from the reconciliation business process.
  • The ability to complete the business process of approval with the adoption of all changes.
  • At responsible person it became possible to complete the approval business process with the acceptance of all changes. This is necessary, for example, when the person who must accept the changes is not present and a substitute has not been appointed.

Access rights

  • Added new object rights: "Remove from structure" and "Delete".
  • Both of these rights are restrictive (i.e. permission is optional for them). The “Remove from structure” right regulates the possibility of deleting subordinate elements. That is, if a prohibition is set, no element can be removed from the structure of the current parent. The “Delete” right works for a specific element and allows you to set a ban on deleting it, taking into account the applicability.

Administration

  • Enable/disable element uniqueness check for the infobase.
  • Checking the uniqueness of elements in the system is now regulated by the corresponding constant. The check can be quickly disabled by resetting the flag in the system settings window.
  • Remove unrelated security descriptors.
  • Unrelated security descriptors can be deleted either by a scheduled background task or manually from the lookup list form (administrator role required).
  • Change the appearance of an existing element.
  • Through the properties window, the administrator can change the appearance of an already created element.
  • Increased performance when expanding a tree (folders, product structure, technologies, etc.).
  • Checking the connection of elements with the nomenclature in the design and technological reference book and explorer.
  • Quick launch of calculation blocks through the "Services" menu.
  • Displaying the complete revision tree, taking into account the history of creation.

1С:PDM Version 2.1.2

The changes affected the design and technological subsystem, as well as the improvement of general system administration tools and interaction with the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8 ERP system.

Product structure management

The tools for managing the electronic structure of products (ESI) have been replenished with a new modification of the version editor. The new version editor can now edit not only product versions directly, but also products linked by an arbitrary group document or having a common part of the specification.

With the help of the version editor, it became possible to compare products, as well as the formation of a group notice of change with an automatic search for products by applicability. The change notice in the version editor is now generated in the same way as the product structure editor - by modifying the ESI. Using the variant editor, you can compare two versions of the same product and generate a change notice based on the differences.

Technological preparation of production

Technological preparation of production in 1C:PDM received an automated system for the preparation of standard and group technological processes. Now the system automatically saves changes for a certain product, taking into account not only changes (versions) of incoming components or materials, but also taking into account changes in the technology itself. To form changes specific to a particular product, it is enough to execute them on the common part and save them. Selection of operation versions allows you to create several variants of technical processes or operations, depending on the production conditions, and automatically select them. When standard technological processes are transferred to the ERP system, their copies are automatically converted into single technical processes with characteristic changes for each product, leaving the originals unchanged. Even if the standard workflow has changed, there is no need to replicate them in ERP - the 1C:PDM system will do this automatically.

In version 2.1.2, following the wishes of users, more than 20 improvements were made to the administration system and user interface, thanks to which work in the system became even more efficient and convenient.

PLM Component 2.5 for SolidWorks

In version 2.5, the command for filling in the values of the designation and denomination properties has been added. The designation and denomination can be recognized from the document name, configuration name or description, from the configuration representation for the specification. AT new version improved recognition algorithm.

Model material is now imported into 1C:PDM as an electronic structure object. When importing, the uniqueness of the material is checked. Three new commands have been added: saving SolidWorks document property values to a 1C:PDM document, getting and updating SolidWorks property values from 1C:PDM, and a product structure synchronization command that allows you to build an ESI separately from the save operation.

PLM Component 2.1 for SolidWorks

In February, the version of the PLM-component 2.1 for the SolidWorks 3D modeling system was announced. The PLM component now supports SolidWorks 2011 in addition to previous versions.

The PLM component is an add-on to the SolidWorks system that works with the 1C:PDM engineering data management system. The component is intended for automatic creation of an electronic archive of documents based on existing assembly units and parts, as well as for automatic formation of the electronic structure of the product and collective work with documents. In the new version of the PLM component, work with large assemblies is optimized, closer interaction with the ToolBox library and with tabular configurations is provided. A convenient system for searching and opening documents has appeared, various schemes for importing names and designations of documents and configurations have been implemented. Significantly increased the speed of the PLM component when saving and synchronizing data, as well as when editing. The non-permanent connection mode with the database of the 1C:PDM system allows you to save the number of licenses and significantly increases the reliability of work.

The PLM component for SolidWorks for the 1C:PDM engineering data management system allows you to use efficient real-time data exchange between the design system and the engineering data management system, organize teamwork and automatically generate the electronic structure of the product and the electronic archive of models and drawings.

2005-2007

The solution entered the market in July 2005. called Appius-PDM. September 2007 became a second birth: a new version with a new name 1C:PDM is a joint industry solution of 1C and APPIUS Group.

The 1C: PDM production solution and the 1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management ERP system have become key in the 1C: Mechanical Engineering 8 software and methodological complex, which was released in June 2008.

One of the main features of the solution is a high level of typification of the implementation process of all its components, related to both design and technological preparation of production. The technology for introducing production 1C:PDM has been brought to the industrial stage, which allows enterprises to quickly get results from its use.

Today 1C:PDM is a qualitatively new end-to-end management tool current activities an enterprise that provides transparent and manageable product lifecycle management (PLM) and documentation processes, high performance, better interaction of specialists and control over the production process.

Certificate "Compatible! 1C:Enterprise Software System received the 1C:PDM Engineering Data Management software product developed by CJSC APPIUS as a configuration in the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 environment in the normal mode.

The system "1C: Enterprise PDM. Engineering data management" - a joint solution of the companies "1C" and "Appius" allows for a short time achieve a radical increase in the efficiency of the production preparation process by creating a consistent data structure, when all participants work in a physically unified information environment.

PDM is a system designed as a 1C:Enterprise 8 configuration that does not require the creation of any integrators, interfaces, adapters to transfer information from designers and technologists to the production and planning control loop.

Time and material costs associated with production functions at an industrial enterprise account for at least 70% of the costs. Automation industrial enterprise is the main means of increasing the efficiency of its activities and reducing costs. Consequently, the automation of activities at the stages of developing a new product and pre-production is a priority for a machine-building and instrument-making enterprise. However, the local solution of this problem at individual workplaces of the designer and technologist has practically no effect if the problem of organizing the interaction of engineering personnel in joint project for product development and production.

The organization of interaction at the stages of design and technological preparation of production leads to a decrease in the coordination time, a decrease in the number of returns of the obtained solutions for additional correction, and, finally, to the transition from the sequential method of performing the stages of CTPP to the parallel one.

As automated system, aimed at solving the problems of organizing and coordinating the work of engineering personnel, machine-building and instrument-making enterprises use product data management systems (PDM-system).

The introduction of 1C:PDM allows you to change the methodology of design and technological preparation of production, organize the process of preparation of production in the context of maintaining design and technological information about the product (compositions, manufacturing processes, technological routes, materials, labor intensity of manufacturing), and not as a process of issuing and changing documents.

The system is a common structured storage of information that allows you to systematize, organize, work out and clarify related information about products, serves as an environment for the collective work of specialists from various services, united by a common business process.

The processes of preparation of production and implementation of changes are effectively controlled by obtaining summary information in various sections, taking into account all related factors. The work of services and individual specialists is becoming more coordinated. The probability of performing irrelevant work, the appearance of conflicting change notices is reduced.

1C:PDM allows you to manage the electronic structure of a product, a file archive of design and technological documentation, keep records of originals and copies of a paper archive, calculate labor and material standards, operate with electronic notices of changes, delimitation of access rights to design and technological information.

The connection of each element of the PDM system with the nomenclature provides information on the type of reproduction of this component, its main suppliers, analogues, stock availability, etc., allowing you to create operational management decisions, based on the reliability of data within the ERP system, on the one hand, and the PDM system, on the other hand. The operation of the "1C:PDM Engineering Data Management" configuration does not violate the integrity of the "1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management" configuration, which remains standard solution and can be maintained independently. In the case of using the configuration "1C: Trade Management" at the enterprise, the PDM system takes on the tasks of calculating material costs per product, stock availability, etc.

The system provides:

  • management of the composition of designed products;
  • joint work of all users with project information;
  • data protection and specialization of users and groups, determined by the rights of access to information;
  • management of the electronic archive of documents on the design and technological preparation of production, including the operations of borrowing the composition;
  • multivariant design;
  • storing options that are not included in the main project;
  • search for components and parts for various projects;
  • search for documents;
  • semi-automatic numbering (designation) of units, parts and documents;
  • the ability to view documents, drawings and three-dimensional models of various graphic formats;
  • control of the uniqueness of designations of products (documents);
  • the ability to check the completeness of the issued documentation;
  • control of the range of materials used and assortment;
  • work with the nomenclature reference book;
  • control over the timing of the release of working documentation;
  • accounting for the receipt of working documentation in the archive;
  • formation at any stage of the project of various reports on the results of design;
  • formation of specifications and various statements;
  • launching applications for editing documents directly from the system;
  • maintenance of technological routes;
  • the ability to set various material and labor standards depending on the technological routes for the product;
  • accounting of the main and auxiliary materials and equipment;
  • accounting of semi-finished products at the points of technological routes;
  • processing of assembly units that are not subject to accounting during planning (the so-called "phantoms").

The main benefit of using 1C:PDM in an enterprise is the reduction of product development time, i.e. Reduce time-to-market and improve product quality. Reduced time to market is achieved primarily by improving the efficiency of the product design process:

  • Getting rid of the constructor from unproductive time spent on searching, copying and archiving data, which is 25-30% of his time;
  • Improving the interaction between designers, technologists and other participants in the life cycle of the product by supporting the methodology of parallel design, which leads to a reduction in the number of product changes;
  • Significant reduction in the time required to change the design of a product or its production technology by improving control over the workflow in the project;

The product "1C: Enterprise 8. PDM Engineering Data Management" allows you to manage the electronic structure of the product (GOST 2.053-2006), file archive of design and technological documentation, keep records of originals and copies of the paper archive (GOST 2.501-88), calculate labor and material standards , operate with electronic notices of changes, delimitation of access rights to design and technological information. The introduction of a product at an enterprise significantly reduces the time of production by automating the process of borrowing product components and providing tools to control the flow of work on projects during the design and technological preparation of the production of products.

1C:Enterprise 8. PDM Engineering data management key competitive advantages:

  • Uses the capabilities of the new version of the 1C:Enterprise 8.2 platform for organizing the user interface;
  • It is a parametric system - it allows not only to use the configuration of products according to fixed paths, but also to lay in the product with the help of parameters the possibility of configuring during design, automatic revision of elements is implemented, as well as support for serial numbers, controlled assembly units, automatic construction of the product composition according to the latest changes, by parameter values, by notices of change and production stage;
  • A new integration with CAD systems has been implemented: the designer works only inside the CAD system, while the data is automatically transferred to 1C: PDM.

The greatest effect from the use of 1C:PDM is achieved when integrated with the standard configuration "1C: Manufacturing Enterprise Management 8": in this way, PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) technology is implemented - a technology for managing the life cycle of products. The merged configuration is part of

What gives the enterprise the introduction of the 1C: PDM system

The connection of each element of the PDM system with the nomenclature provides information on the type of reproduction of this component, its main suppliers, analogues, stock availability, etc., allowing you to form operational management decisions based on the reliability of data within the ERP system, on the one hand, and PDM systems, on the other hand. The operation of the "1C:PDM Engineering Data Management" configuration does not violate the integrity of the "1C:Manufacturing Enterprise Management" configuration, which remains a standard solution and can be maintained independently. In the case of using the configuration "1C: Trade Management" at the enterprise, the PDM system takes on the tasks of calculating the material costs for the product, the availability of a reserve in the warehouse, etc.

Benefits of using 1C:PDM

The main benefit of using 1C:PDM in an enterprise is the reduction of product development time, i.e. Reduce time-to-market and improve product quality. Reduced time to market is achieved primarily by improving the efficiency of the product design process:

  • Getting rid of the constructor from unproductive time spent on searching, copying and archiving data, which is 25-30% of his time;
  • Improving the interaction between designers, technologists and other participants in the life cycle of the product by supporting the methodology of parallel design, which leads to a reduction in the number of product changes;
  • Significant reduction in the time required to change the design of a product or its production technology by improving control over the workflow in the project;
  • A sharp increase in the proportion of borrowed or slightly modified components in the product (up to 80%) by providing the ability to search for a component with the required characteristics.

New in Edition 2.0

Parameterization

The rejection of the attributive representation of objects made it possible to make the system completely parametric. The parametric system made it possible to exclude all joints between the CAD system and product information in 1C:PDM. A parametric object from the CAD system is automatically moved to the same parameterized object in the PDM system. All elements interconnected by parameters will change automatically, no matter where the product parameter is changed. Parameters can be inherited from object to object, thus ensuring the natural evolution of information, it is possible to build functional dependencies between any parameters, i.e., provide automatic recalculation of any norms, sizes according to the appropriate formulas. The possibilities of such parameterization are enormous.

Parameterization allows you to use not only the configuration of products according to fixed paths, but also using parameters to provide the possibility of configuration even during the design. This is necessary for users whose activities are at the junction engineering production and construction. The dimensions of such products are not fixed, i.e. can be changed within indefinitely wide limits. When placing such products on site and determining the actual dimensions, all interconnected parameters are automatically recalculated, i.e. the product is automatically configured. Parameterization allows you to automatically recalculate, if necessary, any parameters of the technological process, operation, time standards and materials, depending on changes in the parameters in the product. In this case, no additional settings are required - just use the desired parameter.

New security system

The security system of edition 2.0 of 1C:PDM is built on the basis of object and group policies, which allows you to flexibly and efficiently manage access rights within the entire system. The security system is built on the basis of configurable templates, which allows administrators to describe various data access schemes and apply them within object or group policies. The template application process itself can be computed, i.e. when an object passes a certain stage of its life cycle, certain access permissions can be assigned to it (according to a certain algorithm laid down by the administrator or the system itself).

New interface

The interface of edition 2.0 of 1C:PDM has been significantly redesigned taking into account ease of use, context-sensitive menu items have been implemented (all actions with a specific object are concentrated nearby and are always available).

Parametric editor and new interface for the technologist

For the technologist, the "Manufacturing technology management" interface is implemented, in which there is a complete technology tree, starting with the product and ending with the last tooling of the last transition. The new edition provides for automatic revision, the possibility of using CTE (design and technological element), the joint work on one object, the transition editor has been developed, the use of formulas in any kind of complexity has been ensured.

New integration with CAD systems

In edition 2.0, a fundamentally new integration with CAD systems has been implemented. The constructor works only inside the CAD system, while the data is automatically transferred to 1C:PDM. Each integration is implemented as a component of a CAD system (SolidWorks and Compass-3D components are implemented, others are under development). The designer can use the 1C:PDM or CAD system interface, because the tree of the electronic structure of the product is fully synchronized with CAD in both directions.

Implemented automatic revision of elements, as well as support for serial numbers, managed assembly units, automatic construction of the product composition according to the latest changes, according to parameter values, according to notifications of changes and the stage of production

Overview of key features

The 1C:PDM Engineering Data Management system (1C:PDM) uses technological solutions 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, and also uses a number of specialized components developed exclusively for 1C:PDM.

1C:PDM is a parametric system - it allows not only to use the configuration of products according to fixed paths, but also to lay in the product with the help of parameters the possibility of configuration during design. The system has a context-sensitive user interface: actions with a certain object in the system are concentrated nearby and are always available. The system implements automatic revision of elements, as well as support for serial numbers, controlled assembly units, automatic construction of the product composition according to the latest changes, according to parameter values, according to notifications of changes and the stage of production.

1C:PDM uses a fully object data representation model based on the 1C:Enterprise 8 database. A set of product or technology parameters that can enter into a calculation or other interaction is unified, forming a single design and technological chain.

The use of background tasks running on servers in a computing cluster makes it possible to carry out complex functional dependencies of parameters and makes it possible to fully describe the product life cycle process.

The basic part of the 1C:PDM system is implemented on the 1C:Enterprise 8 platform, and the components for working with CAD systems are implemented inside the corresponding CAD systems. CAD access components provide two-way integration of the solution with design CAD systems.

One of the two basic components of 1C:PDM is the product structure management system, which includes the product structure editor, borrowing, search, applicability, etc. tools.

The second basic component is the manufacturing technology management system, which provides preparation and maintenance of technology for products at all stages of pre-production and production, as well as repair and disposal technologies.

Change Management Module serves to introduce regulated changes in the structure of the product and technology.

Reference data management module serves to organize electronic reference systems, the regulatory framework of which will correspond to the regulatory framework of the enterprise.

Electronic and paper archive management documentation allows for electronic document management between departments of not only engineering documents, but also documents of the enterprise.

Tasks of rationing time and material consumption rates solved by specialized calculation tools.

Fully automated interaction of the 1C:PDM system with ERP allows in as soon as possible reach the tasks of planning and managing production with reliable data, as well as keep them up to date.

Collaboration tools

Collaboration tools are aimed at improving the efficiency of teamwork in the 1C:PDM system.

Search is possible by various sets of criteria, you can search by properties, by designation and name, dates, owners, etc.

In 1C:PDM, each user has their own personal folders in the system, their own desktop and built-in mail system. If necessary, any personal folder can be made public, and it will appear to all users. On your own desktop, you can put shortcuts to all PDM elements that the user works with and thinks that they will be useful to him; when an element is placed on the desktop, its built assembly is placed with it

The built-in mail system allows you to send and receive emails from PDM users. It works exactly like a mail program, saving sent and incoming messages. The mail service allows you to attach PDM documents and elements, files, notifications as attachments. Letter design tools are also implemented on Web-technology.

You can add tags to each letter - common features that will mark this letter as corresponding to the sign. For example, if you need to find the entire tree of correspondence according to the features "Production", "Rejection", "Block number 7", you can instantly get it by specifying these features.

1C:PDM can perform its tasks both independently and in combination with an ERP system. In this case, PDM fully provides the preparation of the regulatory framework for production planning and accounting.

1С:PDM provides automatic generation of item specifications, technological maps and various levels of detail in the preparation of these data.

Product structure management

The interface of the product structure editor provides for changing the composition of the product components, building the electronic structure of the product without the initial data of the model, creating and adding elements to the electronic structure of the product that are not in the CAD model, such as kits, other products, documents, options for acceptable replacements, etc. . The editor consists of a product tree, a list of item revisions and a product composition table, in which the columns contain the parameters selected for editing in this window. The product structure editor has a multi-window interface, which makes it possible to modify each product in its own window. Adding your own parameters to the BOM columns for a specific item automatically adds the parameter to the product.

The product structure editor allows you to add design elements to the product composition, bringing it to the form of a single or group specification. Design elements in this case can be arbitrary, and their number is also unlimited. In the editor, the electronic structure of the product takes on its final, designed form.

Filling in the structure of the product is possible from the three-dimensional model formed by the designer in the CAD system. The base part of this model in 1C:PDM is placed completely automatically using the appropriate PLM component. At the same time, the parsing of the names of parts and assemblies is carried out for automatic extraction of symbols and names from them. Absolute paths in the model are destroyed, all available configurations are analyzed and the electronic structure of the product is created on the basis of all this, plus the automatic placement of all related files in 1C: PDM. It should be noted that work with library elements is also carried out. After the model is placed in the system, the local version of the model can no longer be used, and the model from the PDM database can now be shared.

The constructed electronic structure is controlled by special elements in the system, the so-called. "Active Documents". An active document corresponds to a certain CAD system and can control the electronic structure of a product (ESI) by commands from CAD, rebuilding that part of the ESI that is obtained from the model. One electronic structure of the product can be controlled by several electronic documents(but not simultaneously), which allows several different CAD systems to work with the same product structure. By changing the electronic structure of the product, the model associated with this structure through the active document also changes. Those. there is a full two-way integration of the ESI with the model.

After placing the model and forming the electronic structure of the product, designers begin work with a single PDM repository, from which each designer can get a working copy of the model or part of the model to the local workplace(PM), start modifying it, getting, if necessary, elements modified by other users. Once the working copy edit step is complete, the designer can update the model in the PDM store based on their own changes. With any change in the model, it is followed by its electronic structure of the product, built in PDM. Editing is carried out with automatic locks, which excludes the simultaneous modification of the component by several constructors. The working copy located on the designer's PM can be used by him for quick opening. In this case, when accessing the PDM, the files are checked against the digital integrity code for a match with the files in the repository, and, if necessary, updates are transferred to the local RM, updating the working copy. If, after changing the product, the designer decides to save these changes not in the base version of the product, but in its revision, there are special buttons for this that allow you to automatically create revisions of the changed elements and place these revisions in the PDM database. In addition, each revision is placed with its own ESI, if it has one. Saving revisions, or as they are also called "iterations", allows you to store several different versions of the model structure and select the desired version as a static product or as a managed product.

When placing models, inserting documents, a secondary representation of the data of these documents is formed, which, as a rule, is an image. Viewing such images, as well as viewing drawings, the contents of documents, is carried out by the built-in viewing interface, and, if desired, by a component of the application in which the document was created. These applications include PDF, TIF, all other types of graphics, and eDrawings. The editor is a powerful tool for creating and modifying the electronic structure of a product.

Manufacturing technology management

Technological preparation of production in 1C:PDM is based on the concept of electronic product technology - an informational description of the production process, which includes a description of all processes and tools necessary for the manufacture of the product.

Electronic technology in 1C:PDM operates with many entities of technological preparation of production, and work with it is organized in a specialized interface for managing manufacturing technology. The interface allows you to open, create, modify workflows, operations, transitions, routes, picking, and much more. Consists of a taskbar containing actions that can be performed on the selected entity. Naturally, the taskbar changes as you navigate through the technology objects. The technology tree is a detailed description of the process with a list of operations, transitions, equipment, acquisition, products of standard and group technological processes, output products, basic materials, etc. The workspace is organized for changing technology, contains built-in editors for all entities, including the transition editor.

Electronic technology has the ability to insert sketches, drawings, drawings, CNC programs into work area. It is possible to present a general technology tree for the entire product, as well as the ability to edit in this mode.

The transition editor has functionality for inserting tables, special characters, drawings, etc. The transition editor allows you to copy formatted text from any text editor while preserving all text attributes.

The user has the opportunity to prepare the technological process in such a way that it is readable and convenient. In addition, the user can print electronic technology in the 1C: PDM editor without using standard reports and maps. The technical process obtained during printing is fully consistent with WYSIWYG technology, which means I get what I see. That is, by applying formatting, tables, color, the user gets the same thing on paper, along with operations in the form of a process that is easy for the worker to perceive. If it is important for the user to comply with the ESTD documentation, he can receive reports on the basis of electronic technology.

Change management

Change notices are a defining element of the system in considering its readiness to describe the product life cycle, i.e. to PLM.

Changes begin with revisions - specialized items that describe changes in the structure of the product, as well as changes in the product itself or its documentation. In 1C:PDM, the method of cascade selective creation of revisions for changeable elements is applied. This means that, having received the composition of the product, the window for creating revisions opens in the form of a tree, where you can create revisions for several elements at a time. There are several types of revisions in 1C:PDM: change revision responsible for iterative changes in the system; performance audits; copy revisions, etc.

The change notice is implemented in the form of documents that have a substantive and algorithmic part. The content part contains a textual description of the changes, and the algorithmic part contains the actions that need to be performed with the product structure according to this notice. The algorithmic part is implemented according to ISO standard, but is understandable to any engineer. It contains three actions: "Add" - to add an element to products, "Exceptions" - to exclude an element, and "Change Value" - to change the value of an element without creating revisions. Posting a notification leads to the execution of these actions. This approach allows you to transfer an algorithmic description of the change to the subcontractor, and he will carry out these changes at home without understanding the paper notice.

Each document can be connected to an approval or status change business process that will start running before the change is made. Cancellation notices can be automatically generated, as well as advance notices that will be canceled after a certain date or action, or become change notices.

Changes in the technological part are similar to a design change, except that it is not the product that changes, but the electronic technology. All actions and types of notifications are available in a technological notification.

Rationing

The 1C:PDM engineering data management system contains a built-in environment for performing engineering calculations, calculating material consumption rates and labor standards. Normalization in the 1C:PDM system is based on a set of specific normalization tables (maps), formulas and sets of calculation parameters that are interdependent. Normalization tables are a universal mechanism for the formation of normalization reference data, similar to tables stored at enterprises in paper form. A convenient mechanism for selecting parameters from normalization tables allows you to significantly simplify the search certain coefficients compared to manual calculations. Further use of the selected coefficients in the calculation formulas and calculations using these formulas completely close the calculation normalization tasks at the enterprise. The mechanism of independent updating and storage of normalization tables allows you to create your own normalization maps, which will be saved when updating the system and purchasing additional maps. The system allows you to adjust any calculation formulas and coefficient values.

When calculating in the 1C:PDM normalization environment, a history storage mechanism is used that allows you to obtain initial data for a specific, calculated parameter and, if necessary, perform a verification recalculation or analysis of the value obtained once.

From the point of view of the 1C designer, useless and routine

occupation, however, it is not.

And to justify why this activity is excitingly interesting and insanely necessary?

I really don't see ANY point where this will help me in MY work.

Here I am a constructor. There is a task - to design a unit.

He must be able to do something, withstand such and such loads for so many cycles, take up so much space and weigh so much. In addition, it must meet all the requirements existing rules and norms.

I have a polished CAD system and a database where I store my models and drawings.

So I weakened him. I found a layout solution, chose materials, calculated strength and issued models and drawings.

Completed and submitted for approval.

Tell me, WHERE can 1C PERSONALLY help in MY work?

Why should I call a CAD model that is initially loaded with a bunch of financial information that makes no sense to me?

Sorry, but financial director does not calculate strength for me, does not sculpt drawings.

Even more so, if a jamb pops up in the design, you will have to redo everything anew and put hundreds of finished parts under the knife - the financial director will be the first who wishes to have sexual intercourse with the designer.

Why, then, should I do HIS work, instead of thoughtfully and efficiently doing MY OWN?

In addition, the client is also not a fool and there are competitors. Once I handed him a raw mess, two, and that's it, no client. And then the financial director starts scratching his turnips, how can he feed the left idle bred economists and IT specialists and recapture the strong loot paid for the introduction of this heresy?

The problem is that I already have enough coordinating authorities for approval. 1C multiplies the number of these instances by at least 2, and now any economist wraps up my statement and puts up some requirements that have come into his head, instead of taking the constructed one as a basis and doing his own work!

IN ANY PLM there is no data correction function, there are only "Approve" and "Reject" buttons. Any h ..... duck pressed "Refuse" - the designer went around the second circle again.

In addition, if in a normal manual process I could at some point go up to the technologist and say, “Look, I have already decided on these dimensions, start designing and ordering equipment, and I’ll add the detail here,” and to the buyer, “Let’s start scratching turnips , where to get such and such metal", then with the introduction of PLM they sit sitting and cannot even START work until I go through all the circles of bureaucratic hell and the green checkmark in the line flashes.

In addition, there is a delivery time, and they also need time for their work until the parts go through the production cycle.

What kind of design quality are we talking about here?

You don't need to tell me, I've experienced this more than once personally. And I know for sure that on the day when our bureaucrats' dream comes true, and even CAD will work not with its reliable and simple PDM database, but with PLM directly, I will put my resignation on the table. Let these bureaucrats, headed by the financial director, construct whatever they want.

Luckily have been struggling for 3 years now and can't debug this. So it's still there :-)

PS. 1C in the text is a collective image, it means any PLM

If they accept, then your hands will be untied or you will not have 1C.

Correctly. And even if the color of one part is different, the execution of the entire product is also different.

Exactly.

This is an OTHER product that needs its own number and its own drawing.

Although it can be damn similar.
