So what is a planner?

As far as I know, in the USSR there was a separate specialty that produced planning specialists, and a methodology for network planning and management was developed, which was used in the fields of industry and construction. Within the framework of the planned economy of the state, he was a serious and respected person))

AT modern economy all construction management was shifted to the project manager. At the same time, sometimes forgetting that the task of the manager is not only to solve the operational tasks of the project, planning and relationships with contractors, but also to motivate and manage the project team. But they came up with a lot of related departments that can do financial models, calculate investments, plan sales, but all paths still lead to the project manager, who is an expert in all project processes and is aware of everyone, everything and everyone))
